There's literally a picture with a ruler, so he's 8", but that being said, that's with him straight legged. Give him some bow legs like apes usually have and he may scale OK. It doesn't really matter that much anyway, it's not like a Kong that looked like this ever fought Godzilla, same with the Mezco, so they'll work for me.

lol- missed that one- but yeah- that's a bit big for my collection- he'll work as an ape with their 7in figures I guess- but I'll skip

The height also really kills almost any chance of there being a Godzilla vs Kong figure since it would take re-making that body in a smaller scale and I can't see that being the sort of invest Neca would jump on.

Luca might still be the best Kong for Neca Godzilla to fight. lol...

They’ve already said they aren’t doing figures from Godzilla vs Kong since Playmates is doing them.

"Might as well not order the porterhouse steak, there's a guy outside selling deep fried dog turds out of his car! They're just as good, right?"

Meaning that Playmates has the master license for the film and NECA does not.

Very disappointed in the packaging. Unlike my Godzilla and horror movie figures, I don't see any reason to save the box.

Thankfully it's the toy inside that I care about.

I'm beyond hyped for this guy! The '33 King Kong is such a classic monster staple, and who couldn't use more figures of monkeys?? I don't care how ugly the box is! :D

Funny how this guy showed up in stores before Neca got around to releasing the packaging photos. But he definitely looks great in person.
