Speak for yourself. I'm a huge Darkstalkers fan and if I can only get two figures, it's Demitri and Morrigan.

He was supposed to be the series' main character, but then Morrigan ended up becoming significantly more popular and the mascot of the franchise.

Yes! Honestly, the character designs in this franchise is really strong. All of them would make really great figures.

personally i really want a goddamn Jedah figure. Morrigan, as well. But I dont think they have a lot of experience with female figures. And they all look bulky af. Morrigan is meant to be slender...... we'll see.

Demitri still remains incredibly popular, but he tends to get overshadowed by Morrigan and the fact that there hasn't been a proper title in the series in 20 years and that he's a difficult character to translate into the various crossover fighters. But without a doubt, he should be the first figure released in any Darkstalkers line.

It depends on where you are getting your lore from. If you are going by the original games, despite Pyron being the final boss, Dimitri is primary antagonist of the story, as many of the character story arcs revolve around him...with Morrigan being his primary adversary. This changed in Night Warriors (DarkStalker 2) where story wise, the focus shifted over to Darkstalker hunter Donovan (and his companion Anita) and Hsien Ko in their quest to destroy the monsters. Pyron was still the final boss for some reason, but again, like in the previous game, Donovan's path crossed through Dimitri as did many others. Vampire Savior pushed Dimitri out of of the limelight as it brought about Jedah...who served as the game's primary big bad and main antagonist, but even then, many of the character arcs crossed paths with Dimitri.

The Japanese anime mini-series had a strong focus on Donovan's (who was the primary protagonist) quest to destroy Dimitri and the other Darkstalkers.

As far as the most popular characters of the series pop culture, it has long been Felicia and Morrigan by far, mostly because of the fan service. But if I had to make a line of Darkstalkers figures, I would have started with Dimitri as well. Without him...many of the character story arcs simply don't exist.

With Morrigan and Dimitri being officially announced...I'm dying to see what kind of ingenuity Storm could bring by putting out an Anakaris and Jedah figure. Those are two of my favorite Capcom characters designs of ALL TIME...I'd lose my mind if they ever got made.

Agreed. I honestly will buy every figure they make. I always loved the character design in this game. Pretty sure Morrigan is next since she was included in promo art when Storm announced this license. Donovan was always my favorite character to play as in part 2, so I'd be beyond happy if they announce him.

I pre-ordered him but for a $100 figure I wish they included a cloth cape.

Found a tweet from Bluefin Brands that had a close-up pics of the unpainted Morrigan prototype. They also confirmed that other Darkstalkers characters are in the works.
