Yeah I'm getting a little anxious here, this was my ideal Jason figure :(

The delay doesn't surprise me at all, NECA has always had a sloppy record with providing a release date and then the product doesn't actually ship until months later. Last year the Scout Predator was originally listed as an August release but we had to wait until December for it to be available. I imagine the overall current global shipping congestion is only exacerbating the situation.

I hope that's the case, I was getting a little worried that the lawsuit situation might have become a problem again.

That said, there's a big difference between scheduling an item to release on a certain future date and missing that mark by a few months, and literally saying "oh it'll be out in a week or two" and THEN missing that mark by a few months.

I could be wrong, but I could've sworn he was actually scheduled to release in December 2020 (which, understandably, shit was kinda hectic last year) but yeah BBTS then had him slated for a March 2021 release, then April, and now I'm getting antsy haha

Yeah, he was supposed to be out before the new year.

I messaged NECA on Facebook and asked them when the figure was coming out. They replied that they don't have a release date for it yet. *groan*

I guess that's slightly better than outright canceled.. :(

finally an update, I was getting worried it hit some more major delays. i still dont think it hits in july but more like september, I mean wasn't puppet master supposed to be out already and it still hasnt shown up. with that said this figure is amazing and may be the best Jason figure to ever be released. ive had mine on preorder for months.

So happy to get some news on this figure...was getting worried the lawsuit nonsense had claimed another victim. I can't wait. If this does end up being the last Jason figure NECA makes, it will be a perfect one to go out on...it looks to be the best Jason toy ever made.

I actually joined this site yesterday specificaly for asking any news regarding this figure. I woke up this morning, and the first new story, THIS FIGURE! Dope. Super F'N DOPE! Really looking forwards to adding this to my collection. Really digging the original VHS artwork used for the cover.

Totally agree. As for the films themselves, my personal top 3 are 1: The Final Chapter 2: Jason Lives 3: The New Blood. But in terms of the look of Jason, its Pt. 7 The New Blood hands down. I was thinking earlier, it would only be fitting if by some chance of a snowball in hell that we got a Pt. 1 Pamala Voorhees in Ultimate form

Jason's looks in Parts 7 & 6 are pretty much evenly tied for me in terms of being my favorite. 6 is underrated, but I love the more "refined" outfit with the gloves and utility belt and all. But nothing is scarier than Jay's look in 7.

Yes, finally! An update! And yeah, I have to agree this this looks to be NECA's best Jason figure ever, even though I dislike how they do the double-jointed elbows (they're not terrible, however, it's just personal preference).

Also, if you look closely at the final packaging (behind the spear and weed wacker), there's a new accessory that wasn't in the original reveal a few months ago: Jason's broken mask from when Tina starts telekinetically squeezing the straps on him!

Good eye on spotting that broken mask. NECA seems to try and cover all bases when it comes to accessories, including little things like the broken mask. I would absolutely geek out if it came with the little party kazzo he stabs in the girls eye!

That boxed sample looks really impressive, it's about time we got an update on this Jason. He comes loaded with way more accessories than I remember, can't wait to see this one in store.

Alright they're just getting sloppy with these elbows. The new Casey Jones elbows should be the standard from now on.
