So I haven't been following the Venom books, can someone explain to me the new Carnage head with the symbol on the forehead? Thanks.

It's from the fairly recent Absolute Carnage event where Cletus tries to resurrect Knull, the symbiote god. That's mainly why he has the spiral symbol on his forehead

For some reason I kinda feel like that Carnage figure was meant to be a movie version before the delay, mainly because the body looks more detailed and "realistic"; he also doesn't come with any weapons. That, and we got a movie Venom in the same wave. I could be wrong though since he doesn't look as tall as Venom and Riot.

It's because of this that I'm wondering whether I should just wait for movie Carnage or not.

If I could pick from this list, I would want Mr Negative. Loved the Spiderman PS4 game so much that game was my gateway drug into collecting Marvel Legends

Movie carnage probably won’t get released for 2 years. Lol. This just is another version of Carnage. Last wave was the Mark Bagley version. This is the more recent version. As for no weapons, that’s because he’s got tendrils, BAF part, and comes with an extra head. That meets the price point they are looking at. Weapons would push him more towards the deluxe price point.

For real though, I'm sure we'll see it at Toy Fair 2021. I'm not complaining or anything, but an almost completely new figure with accessories besides an extra head and a BAF piece isn't unheard of.

I was interested in the Hot Toys Venomdeadpool but the limited articulation was a big disappointment, so this might be my first ML figure.
