Really nice set-up dude...

Well. I did it. I preordered both. This has been the most expensive stretch of toy collecting I’ve ever experienced. I totaled up everything between bbts,EE, dorkside, Walmart, target, amazon, GameStop, hasbro pulse, haslab and neca. From early July over $2500 in toys.(that is about my total for a year) I also get that with covid, virtually nothing came out from early 2020 until June or so.....But, We haven’t even hit the hasbro exclusives, Star Wars haslab or the power con stuff. This all hitting at once is rough. My wife and I sat down and talked about what to do about the neca turtles, the fact is she loves them we are in a position to get them so we went with it. Knowing that waiting on them would cost way more on the secondary. Also looking ahead, other than those 3 big areas coming everything else looks to quite down for a while. Plus my snake mountain is paid for.

I hope everyone is doing alright after these huge hits, but hobbies can be pricey. They should not be stressful. So far for me...just damn pricey.

Well, somewhat related to the cartoon diorama, I saw 3 sets of Bebop & Rocksteady at my local Target today.

Still nothing by me. Glad I preordered for my wife. We were just about out of the toon game. I can’t find April either, I hope she’s easy since she looks so god awful. Lol.

Special thanks to a certain forum member whom offered to help me out on the toon sets when he found some. At the]at point I had dropped them, but him doing that and helping out others really does show the community feel in the toy world and on this site. Kudos to you good sir.

Don't give up hope. My wife found an April set several days ago while grocery shopping. I just need the Casey 2 pack now. And to decide whether to buy one or two dioramas lol.

A few weeks ago I found 3 April sets and then 2 days later found 1 Casey set and the Mutagen Tour pack at a different Target. Now I've seen 3 R&B sets. Either they're getting their act together or I've just gotten very lucky recently.

I also wonder if some have given up on the line. The activity is not as high on the toon threads as it once was in most forums I see. A lot of people said they’d walk away after the issues. I gave neca another chance. They finally stopped saying, be thankful we made them at all, and started owning the mistakes and then fixing them with the preorders.

Neca has given us some of the best sculpts, likenesses, and properties of any toy company. Redemption is not just an empty word for me.

Now if they could make figures that stand up to posing without breakage, we'd be set. :p

Huge pass for me as I was only interested in the heads and this pack would have cost me $65 shipped. It’s just not worth the cost of 3 turtles figures for heads and extra storage bin fodder.
