Updated with additional info and a BBTS pre-order link:

Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Arkham Knight Photos and Details - The Toyark - News

The full accessory list is over at Amazon Japan which like BBTS gets their info’s straight from the source I assume. And lo and behold: No guns.

What the hell. An Arkham Knight / Red Hood figure without guns. That is infuriatingly stupid.

I can’t wrap my head around this idiocy. The figure looks amazing and I could easily give him one of Deadpool's guns, but I simply don’t want to pay for a collector oriented figure that misses key accessories and instead includes random stuff the character never used.

I don’t want to blame Kaiyodo because I know its DC’s bullshit rules, but I don't want to support this nonsense either.

If this continues we either get more figures without guns or they stop doing characters that use guns altogether. Not a fun prospect for this hobby IMO.

Yeah, don't take it out on Kaiyodo. Literally same line, but Marvel.

Kaiyodo also solicitated their Wolverine with a cigar and ended up not including it, just as annoying as the no guns thing.

I find this kinder, gentler world we live in with an aversion to including guns with action figures to be tone-deaf, kneejerk reactionary, and insulting to the intelligence. I feel like the very notion must have root in some “won’t someone think of the children” mentality—forget the fact that these high end figures are like $70-100 retail and don’t find their way into many children’s collections, or the fact you can also kill people with swords and daggers. It all makes a lot of sense kowtowing to folks who might bitch but would never actually buy the end product themselves regardless of how you bend over to appease them.

Guys make a piggy bank and I can print guns for all. I have the pistols model already. Have to find the rifle and make some tests to find the correct scale. The only problem is I'm in Europe and last time I shipped something there took ages. Shipments between both side are still extremely delayedddue to covid.

So did they make an exception for Mcfarlane DC stuff? Because Jokers and Grim Knight both have guns included for $20.

Those might've been released (or at least finalized/gone into production) before the rule happened, or fully took effect.

Disappointing. Holding out hope that this is one of those not mentioning for marketing but will have guns at the end of the day. Otherwise, if this is the way its going to be with WB/DC definitely unhappy. Echo with what everyone said, it isnt Red Hood without guns, besides the gun combo to sniper is quite "fantasy" and not as real. Business standpoint, they're very out of touch with the main core fanbase, with 1 or 2 exceptions, the comicbook genre, especially DC IP is far more successful/profitable when you stick to a more dark, mature, adult tone. Dont need to water it down, especially with the villain characters.

As it stands, will just keep on waiting for another version of this figure or wait for the sale.
