As some already mentioned, I also kinda think this Galactus' costume is just a wee bit ornate. I don't mind it, per se, but I'd have been just as happy with a less intricate design. Still, all in all I'm super excited.

If they do include Surfer, it'd be great if he came with a flight stand designed to hold both he and his board. I know that's highly unlikely, though. I do hope we start seeing at least some incentive unlocks in the next day or so.

They did a great job on the legs, arms, and size. Everything else tho…

If they're going to go with Heralds as extras, I'd prefer one that's new to Legends. Surfer not only has been done, but a new version could easily go to retail.

Why do they keep adding light-up circles to Galactus's helmet?

If he was perfectly comic accurate with little detailing people would be complaining too. The limit of 5 is odd though considering he's made to order...

Because people like light up features and the 3.75 Marvel Universe version that this is pretty much a DELUXE send up of was widely celebrated, even by Marvel Legends fans. Initially, I thought the lights and the overly elaborate presentation of the Universe version was slightly garish, but I've grown to accept it, if not like/love it.

Neat! I'll grab one. Not a fan of the overly done headgear, but I don't plan to spend a lot of time staring at either. So easy to look past.

There is always a limit of 5 on haslab. You can place as many separate orders of 5 as you wish though.

They are made to order but Hasbro likely has an idea of how many they are willing to make. I also guess they want to make sure they don't produce 100 for one customer who backs out down the line. Basically limit fraud.

Then not having saw a store have 100 units out on the floor to sell. Probably want to preserve an image of exclusivity.

I believe it's supposed to be the Galactus Engine from the Thanos Imperative, although that would make it a decidedly inaccurate Galactus Engine since the one in the comic was his torn out head and spine combined with elements of the Great Old Ones.

Love Galactus. I’m really glad Haslab is doing this. I passed on the sentinels, I’ll pass on this, but I’m thrilled Hasbro is taking these “risks” and doing regular larger figures that are more than 16”. This looks phenomenal! Can’t wait to see what the bonuses are.

You can’t “back out down the line” because you’re charged when the campaign is over. And these will not be in stores beyond a few online retailers who have to place orders like the rest of us.

My question is: who in the actual fuck needs 5 of these things? Are they gonna put some more Celestial heads in there like Oneg the Prober or Ziran the Tester that don’t match the body at all?

I bet you could sell the first 4 and make enough to pay for the fifth one that way, basically getting it for free. People always want these things but can’t afford it at the first offering or are too busy or change their minds or whatever.

Hopefully these and the sentinels get some type of mass release down the road.

The army builder they are taking about has to be the Punisher robots that Big G sics on pesky humans/aliens that are not worth his time. Imma wait till I see what the tier characters are, how they look & if they're in the correct scale. I really think they need to re-do Terrax on a smaller scale around 80th Aniiv Thor's hgt as Terrax is 6'6, not 7'6. A Frankie Ray classic Nova is a must as are classic Airwalker & Firelord. Silver Surfer was put on the short Sunfire buck so a re-do on a taller buck would be much welcomed as well. Morg would be a great Herald to have as well.

Hmm tempted to get this, if I did though, would need to get SS and the FF sigh...

Backers have really slowed for this compared to the Sentinel. Hopefully they break out some tiers after the weekend.

Always thought more Sentinels could've sold more if only they also advertised the small Legends Retro 3.75 line by Kenner. Same could be done regarding the Galactus. There's no comparison pics of Galactus next to the new 3.75 figures. The smaller figures would've made Galactus look that much more bigger.

Over 6000 in the first 24 hours is slow?

The barge was slow as can be until about 5 days before the close. I hope this does slow, the need to be giving us some damn heralds with this.

It'll probably reach 8000 by Sunday night or Monday. Already past 6500 now. But yeah I'm guessing it will slow down as it gets to the 9000+ mark and will inch its way into the 10,000's over the next few weeks. They'll need to reveal some tier incentives in the next week or two. Hopefully other non-Silver Surfer heralds as others have suggested.

It's a shame they can't do this particular herald... :)
