Well the pricing on the Black Series figures lines up with the increased price from the PotF2 style Disney/Pulse exclusives. This means that Grievous will actually have a cheaper msrp here than the previous "deluxe" release but that's assuming you can get a hold of one.

You are right. It didn’t hit me that he was a lower price than before. I really would like to see the black series figures before I commit to them though.

Even ignoring the exclusivity factor it is pretty hard to get excited for a toy that you haven't seen at all. Right now we're just stuck guessing. Will they be painted normally or be given a cel-shading effect? Stuff like that.

I really love that cartoon. I actually have the dvd sets for them and of course now they’re on Disney+, I love the episode where the light sabers glow is the only color on the characters. They are often overlooked Star Wars stories, but they were and are great in my mind.

I would love toon shading like the venom figure is getting. But like you said. Hard to commit to these without knowing what they will look like.

IMO they should re-release the 6" Walgreens Clone Commander Obi-wan on a card with the 2003 cartoon card art... that would be cool.

Didn't even have a shot at Windu and Grevious before they sold out. I really despise exclusives.
