And oh yeah, those Boba and Fennec figures will be mine. About time Hasbro released the Mando version of Fett, even though the packaging looks like it's squashing his fucking helmet. Nothing some hot water won't fix, but it's still annoying.

That said, why does his suit look brown in the posed pics? In the in-packaging shots it's black as it should be. And I'm confused how the sculpted robe around his legs works in terms of movement. Makes me think they should have gone with softgoods for that, but I know a lot of people would have bitched about that.

And he's not due out until fall 2022, which is a bummer. Hopefully he'll start popping up earlier.

To be fair, the Clone Wars Mandalorian soldier from The Mandalorian is going to be a normally-priced figure, but that really just highlights how ridiculous this pricing is since Boba includes precisely one additional accessory that the soldier doesn't have (a removable helmet), but where the soldier has his rocketpack clipped to his back, Boba's is laid out beside him in the interior bubble just to try and justify the bigger box and steeper price.

From what I can see, he appears to be almost 100% new tooling. He might possibly share parts of his arms with the Black Series Din Djarin, but apart from that, the only reused element that I can identify is his pistol, which was previously packed with Bo-Katan and Koska (which makes sense, since the various shows give the impression that that particular blaster is the Mandalorian equivalent of the Colt Peacemaker or Browning M1911):

Well I'm not happy but I absolutely predicted that they would charge this Boba Fett as a deluxe for no damn reason. It's a dead horse-beating situation but the majority if not all of the black series deluxe releases really don't justify their price compared to what the regular releases still offer. Of course FOMO is going to kick in hard and I'm still going to get this at full price and be bitter about it just like I did with the RotJ Boba. I'm also still in for Fennec and Mayfeld.

I can wait for clearance and more reasonable prices down the road. I got no fomo no mo.;)

I'm just a sucker for Boba Fett, always have been. Evidently plenty of other people in my area are too since the RotJ Boba flew off shelves at full price.

Dont get me wrong i too am a big fan of fett ( though i think that boba fatt needs to hit the star wars equivalent of jenny craig ) but also when morrison is too old, dead or doesnt wanna do it anymore just find another actor, fett clones himself into a new body and viola, young fett back in action.

Here i never even saw rotj fett on shelves, had to get mine through amazon. Was hoping to find one retail but never happened. And hes gone up so nix on getting one at a decent price or cheap. I did luck out and found a sealed proto fett earlier this year for 12 bux……so that was good.

Don't feel bad. As a Boba guy myself, I'm almost assuredly going to pay full price for this figure as well, if not more.

Have you seen the Book of Boba Fett trailers? Morrison looks like he's leaned out considerably since The Mandalorian. The dad bod is gone!

Yeah, I can wait. The deluxe ROTJ Boba is still in-stock at a lot of stores, likely due to the high MSRP, and I expect it'll be the same with this figure.

Technically, Koska's torso isn't accurate, either. Her undersuit doesn't have a v-collar like Bo-Katan's.
