I never understood even as a kid who the hell collects these weird costumed "Turtles as someone else" toys. I never wanted Raph as the Ultimate Warrior or Frankenstein's Monster, I just wanted regular Raph as seen in the toon.

I think if they did them cartoon style then they'd be limited to Target. They can sell these wherever.

The only reason I got the Leo as the Gillman is because at the time there were no Gillman figures and Creature from the Black Lagoon was my favorite of the Universal movies at the time. As such, it was the closest thing I ever got.

Yeesh. I mean, he looks great for what he is.... But couldn't you just have switched around which Turtles corresponded to which monsters, NECA? I get that you can't make updates of the original figures, but make Leo the Invisible Man or something!

And in those five years, the Predator franchise has changed ownership and the film's original writers have filed a lawsuit against the new owner to get the rights back. Something that may have the merchandise in limbo (the Marvel comic that was supposed to be rescheduled for November isn't in any of Marvel's November/December solicitations). Feels like a Predator fan would know that.

If you want to complain to NECA, then go wild, but it seems a bit unfair to take out your frustrations on TMNT fans. Toys are cancelled all the time, even ones that are way further along in the prototype stage than that Predator (my heart still aches for the S.H. Monsterarts Angels that Bandai showed off a decade ago).

I'm sorry but the Invisible Man is probably the worst possible choice in my opinion. Just wrap your trench coat Raphael in bandages and throw sunglasses on him. I'd rather be able to see some new interesting aesthetic interpretation instead of covering them up.

For the same reason I'm really not interested in them doing The Mummy at all but maybe they'll make up for it with some uniquely posed sculpt.

There were so many better monster options to combine Leo with!

The Invisible Mikey figure had a cool mix of clear parts & removable bandages so it could totally work.

I'm a big monsterarts fan. I had to look that up. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I wish you hadn't mentioned them. They are so AMAZING. This black fig is one of the coolest action figures I have EVER SEEN. I don't know or care about the property but look at that...Definitely a heartbreaker.

Back on Turtle talk, remember the SH Figuarts Shredder? Still waiting for that too. One of the figs I want most in this world. Maybe with the delayed success of their turtle line and the tremendous success of revitalization of the retro turtles we will see it later as NECA and SUPER7 slow down. I'll WAIT!

As for Igor Leo, it looks really great so I'll get it. Buuuut maybe I agree mostly with people on the choice. Not the most encapsulating for Leonardo. Feels a tad boring. Lacking idk.

I will fet this but it is such a bad choice. Are the rest of rhe rurtles going to be frankenstein related. Almost any monster would have been better.

Hell, we're STILL waiting on Figuarts Grievous. What's it been - like 6- years since he was shown? Feels like it.

Damn! Didn't see this coming. And as soon as I saw it, I knew people were going to complain about the choice of character. I get it, we'd rather have the more traditional Universal Monsters characters. But this Leo looks so damn good IMO. I love his droopy eye, the teeth, the little scar on his lip. Awesome.

When I first saw the pic, before reading anything, I thought it was Quasimodo, which would have been another inspired choice. And then I thought, "why Ygor? Why not Fritz?" Either way, Leo being Ygor hints at a Frankenstein-themed lineup for the four turtles. I'm intrigued to see the rest.

That's an insult to us Leo fans. I don't care how they tried to rewrite history, but Leo will always be the BIG brother and LEADER of the turtles! He's no hunchback sidekick! That should have been Mikey!

There is always the pretty great 1/18 scale figures but something is telling me you wouldnt like the size . There are some lawsuits for the rights and ip so expect to wait a lot longer .

There are a heck of a lot of people that love them as different types of turtles and figures . Thats why these will do well and more will be made . If you go by your taste then over half the existing line would never been made or became popular .

I know a lot of people weren't excited about Leo as the Hunchback, but man that figure looks pretty awesome. I love the opening shell!
