Oof, lots of painted detail missing on this one. The lack of camouflage pattern on the pants I could forgive, but why are the armor parts black when they should be blue? McFarlane makes lots of crucial mistakes with their releases IMO but usually the paint deco is at least decent. This one looks way off.

And yes, it sucks that we live in a time where action figures can't include miniature guns anymore. Generic guns I can replace, but characters like Arkham Knight have fairly unique weapons. Yes, I’m aware of 3P-stuff, but I wish we wouldn’t need it.

Someone either here or on TheFwoosh said Mcfarlane should just sell a gun accessory pack on his website, would solve all these problems!

For some reason I think Mcfarlane is based the figure off this design which was the first images we got of the character.

But well the game is years old and working off early concept art really isn't an excuse. I get not having a way to reproduce the holographic helmet, but the figure should have a whole lot more red and a semblance of the red patterns on the pants.

Giving how standardized things are. Yeah I'd love to see a hands and weapons pack. Just generic black hands. They can even be artist proof so you can paint them for the flesh colored characters. Weapons......just scale them appropriately. It always seems odd how companies don't have supporting products for their main products.

Mezco did something like that in the past. The only problem is I don’t know how detailed they can be when reproducing the specific design without angering the copyright holder.

I mean generic weapons would work, but Arkham Knight here needs a bit more than that.

I feel like the holo helmet could be convincingly replicated by casting a dome in translucent plastic that goes over the front of the helmet, and tampographing some gibberish in tiny font on it haha

Wonder if they'll make a Red Hood variant.

Looking forwards to arkham knight, hopefully we get ak red hood too. And…..theres no GOAWDAYUM SIDE EYES! ( okay there probably is under the mask haha. )

I'm not overly pleased to be seeing Reverse Flash from Inj2 before Supergirl, Bane, Black Adam, Black Canary, or almost anyone else who was in the base roster of the game but at least they actually put in the effort and made him a new figure (except for maybe the hands).

The lack of female characters is almost perverse, especially since the Injustice costumes are really nice.

And I refuse to buy the Hiya Toys figures, which cost more than McF's figures and are only 1/18-scale. Yuck.

Damn. That flash is super sexy! Batman is missing some red camouflage though. I hope the final figure corrects that. I preordered all 3.

That Reverse Flash looks awful. 100% looks like IJ2 Barry cosplaying.

And we see Todd is the one who wants the side eye. Here's a hint, Toddy Boy. If you didn't use that silly one shade make-up cake on the faces, they wouldn't look like mannequins. Does any one else's photo real figures look like mannequins, Todd?

The good thing is that Reverse Flash can shoot a side glance at Penguin who is shooting a side glance in the other direction to make a nice "Who farted" display.

Well, let's face it - it's a mostly Batman line so of course the most you get with women are Batgirl and Harley, and I'm sure WB/DC is pushing HARD for Batgirls and Wonder Womans since they intend them to be the Iron Man and Cap and Thor of the new DCEU along with Not Supergirl.

Plus - Supergirl is harder to re-use the same body for twenty variations because she usually has very different outfits.

Not really. I can see them making several variants off of one main body.
