Yeah both figs are yellow effects. I can see that on my computer, possible that your monitor is reading the colors differently. Some shots are over exposed so the color is washed out a bit.

Todd just needs to hire an actual pro figure maker already. He needs to hang up the hat and let someone with real talent make the toys. His ab sections are just a joke. They look horrible and are less functional. Then we get into crap like the Spawn Kickstarter where he decided to make it pre-posed in the sculpt which makes it only suitable for that one pose IMO.

Just go back to making your statues Todd and hire someone who can make action figures.

The CW Flash 7th Season 7 Inch Figure good figure and sculpt but the abs are too large he does not look like that in the show. And why not release the Season 8 version with the gold boots? If McFarlane Toys does more CW DCTV Arrowverse 7 Inch Figures I hope they release a Superman Tyler Hoechlin figure from Superman & Lois and Stargirl from Stargirl Seasons 1 and 2.

Kind of feel like Todd had to be dragged kicking and screaming into putting articulation on his figures, and DC Multiverse is clearly suffering for it.

You can see how he's going back to trying to make these as pre-posed statue as possible while not taking the articulation away.

His stuff reminds me of Hasbro's early attempts at super articulation. Certainly not acceptable efforts in 2022.

But the line has won awards, so clearly Todd ain't changing.

Aye, the version on the card looks way better. Kind of surprised they kept that card image in there at all. It feels like a tease. Like on old game shows when the contestant fails in the final round "Here's what you could have won".

Is Todd actually sculpting the bodies or are his sculptors being directed to sculpt this way?
I just can't get past how sensible the upper torso is on their render. There is no good reason to not have that be the standard cut.

Again though you can see the problem. They sculpt and then apply the cuts for articulation. Vs having the articulation already in place and then they sculpt that.

I can kinda see what Mcfarlane means by mannequins with the eyes on the render but in reality(and with the digital paint apps they've been using recently) it's very much not a problem. Side eye certainly isn't solving it.


There's some illuminating about seeing the renders as I think they might be looking at them the wrong way. Falling in love with the render but ignoring the limitations.

Dunno about flash but that godspeed is sweet as hell..

Well right off the bat, yeah the side eye is annoying and the weird cut actually mess less sense as it's hiding detail because of that weird cut. Otherwise, not a bad figure for the line.
