I managed to get Gung Ho (looks substantially different from last year's Classified version) from Hasbro Pulse directly. But yeah Walmart gave me the "can't add at this time" (wait, aren't you like the largest retail store in the world, second to Amazon???)

I don't fully grasp why Walmart even bothers (these 5,000 lot "collector specials" don't even dent Walmart's revenue stream).

I suppose Walmart gets mixed up in this to crush Target's attempts to forge an identity as a collector niche for itself???

And blast that Hasbro Pulse... I'd think that membership ought to guarantee us a preorder slot (even if limited to one copy). But Hasbro releases frequently don't even last longer than 10 minutes during the "Pulse Member Only period". Can't Hasbro send out a survey like "Select from the following pre-orders what you want to get and we'll save you a copy!" Instead, Pulse is more or less just an old fashioned free shipping membership service.

Toy market is big. Walmart and Target are still fighting over the market share that became available after Toys R Us closed shop.

So the second day was a bust?
