The Party Wagon design worked great in the cartoon, and as a relatively simple '80s toy. It's interesting to see it re-imagined as a deluxe "toy" in two distinct styles. Neither are stirring my heart, but I imagine these are a dream come true for many. Would be awesome to see the Mutant Module get a release.

ghostbogey 04-05-2022 02:07 AM

Uhhhh.....
Looks like we have a...
"WINNER" here....

"NECA"!!!!...IMHO ;^)

AlienK 04-05-2022 02:19 AM

Something looks off about NECA's one, not to mention it seem to small too.
Maybe I'm just being picky but none of the 3 options hit the spot for me.
If there was something like the UA but with all the toy details from Super7s it would be perfect, to me at least who prefers the toy design.

MegaPrime33 04-05-2022 04:41 AM

It does seem small and compact when compared to s7 and other third parties, but it does look like it jumped off the screen. I like it overall but need to see in hand photos of it. $250 is also pretty reasonable.

classicaaron 04-05-2022 06:09 AM

so glad this does nothing for me. everyone saying $250 is a bargain is crazy to me. i know toys are expensive these days but something this simplistic is no where near $250 worth of value. so many better things including some actual vintage items i can buy for the price. easy pass.

$250 is a value if you consider this a centerpiece for your collection. That's basically what it's there for. It's not there for most people to afford. Same with that $150 4 pack of Turtles.

Like the $250 TVC Boba Fett's Throne Room has that value to me because it can be Jabba's Palace, and after decades of collecting Jabba's Goons, it will be my centerpiece.

dukefett 04-05-2022 07:36 AM

They had to make some sacrifices here to get to $250 and I don't think they were worth it. The huge roof just looks odd and I don't think I saw any screen shots that are as wildly tall as this one. It's super boxy and really small. Only 8" wide.

Second time I have tried. I keep getting rejected with installments. I have more than enough, but like to pay it off slowly rather than drop whatever I am.

Alucard1138 04-05-2022 11:14 AM

Top of the roof should be flat, not so round and close to the spoiler like shown here. Hope they fix that, price points not terrible, I like that the roof looks like it splits open in the middle which is cartoon accurate.

I went with the payment plan which only gave one option for me through affirm; 4 installments every 2 weeks. Shipping was $14.99
I would have preferred every 4 weeks but alas. Time to start selling more of my collection which is deemed to be phased out in favor of TMNT!

great thank you

All things considered, I'll stick with my Cowabunga Carl Party Wagon.

I don't like Super 7, I don't support 3rd Party producers, and Neca's chronic QC issues make the price-point WAY to big a pill to swallow.

Nice.

Until that Tweet in December saying an Ultimate version was coming "soon", my best hope was a Turtles in Time April.

Eightiesmang 04-06-2022 12:13 PM

Here are the dimensions of each:

Super 7
20.25” L x 13.8” H x 12.5” W

UA
17.32” L x 11.81” H x 11.42” W

Neca
14” L x 12” H x 8” W

EternianJerkian 04-07-2022 04:38 AM

Aye, looks nice and it seems reasonably priced compared to other such things but still way too expensive for the poorer collectors like myself. My kid likes the look of it and I don't think he's ever even seen the original cartoon other than clips. We don't have any of the figures though so we're very behind on collecting anything NECA have to offer from the cartoon lol
