This is a line I would normally be all over, it meets the criteria of 90% of my toy collection, an updated toy line based on a cartoon I loved as a kid, and I really did debate getting on it, but it just feels like a lazy effort to get in on the nostalgia fix, so far I haven’t seen one that’s really impressed me in regards to screen accuracy, when you look at what other companies are putting out these pale in comparison, just a bunch of repaints. Mondo are doing it right, but alas they are out of my budget. I hope one day I can have an X-Men animated series figure collection that’s reasonably priced and does the source material justice, this line just isn’t it for me.

I'll admit it, I like it more for the VHS box packaging than the figure itself. I still have my "Pryde of the X-Men" VHS tape this would look good next to on the shelf (even though that was a different show).

Is it me, or is there just the SLIGHTEST hint of Rebecca Romijn in that face sculpt?
