The unpainted Batman (Knightfall?) figure looks promising.

I stand corrected. The face sculpt looks cartoony. :(

Thanks for the view of the pics for the figures. Bane and Batman do look good, real good!

Note: Hopefully, they make a version of that batman in black/grey or all black, cause most likely will get it.

I have the DC Animated Batmobile for 6 inch figures. I have always been looking for the perfect Batman to put in that Batmobile. I have a couple of DCUC Batman figures (grey/blue, grey/black, and all black, MIB). The DC Animated Batman figures really do have some great figures in the line, But the DC Animated Batmobile is so well made, that IMO, it outshines the DC Animated Batman figure(s) from the line (Hopefully, I got might point across somewhat). I have not purchased a Batman action figure since the DCUC. Hopefully, this will change in the near future because the DC Animated Batmobile is empty as we speak, waiting for the just the right Batman action figure to be released.

That digibash didn't come out 100% right IMO, here's another one:

But remember, none of these will look as good as the actual physical object, these are digital paint over existing images.

Eeeeeeyikes. Still prefer the McFarlane version.

Can't say that I agree, the skin on the McFarlane one looks weird in certain areas, almost like molten cheese.

You're more than welcome to the hugely outta scale, one set of hands Toddbatverse version. The Mafex version is superior in every way imaginable. It will be coming with at least 5 sets of different hands & most likely an unmasked head sculpt, mask to hold & wouldn't be suprised to see it include Osito. What's the Toddbatverse come with again?

A lower pricetag? :)

Lower pricetag, more plastic, more detail (which is a good or bad thing depending on whether or not you like a lotta detail, for me it's a plus!), easier availability... :)

I was hoping to see more from the Reign of the Supermen...maybe Eradicator or Superboy. I hope they continue with that line

I think they will, they seem dedicated to more Hush and Knightfall as well, both of which I assumed were mostly done. Didn’t expect to see both Batman and Bane for example.

I think that might be a deliberate effort to mimic some of the actual ways steroid abuse can affect the skin such as severe acne (which leads to scarring) and stretch marks, with room for artistic liberties since venom is a fictional super-steroid. They did something similar with their LKoE Bane, giving his skin a rough texture that isn't quite apparent in the respective art.

I haven't looked at it that way. But this texture with the plastic-feel of McFarlane toys - nah I'm good, Mafex is more for me.

But options are good and two potentially excellent Bane figures on the horizon is never a bad thing.

Absolutely. I'm definitely picking up the McFarlane one because it'll be out in like a month or two and is bound to be significantly cheaper than Mafex's (unless they somehow cut their prices by more than half) but the Mafex one is decidedly more his classic appearance and clearly has a greater range of movement so I may end up grabbing it down the line too depending on what else might be fighting for attention.

Both Banes are valid, imo. Guess it all comes down what your preferance is since they seem to be antithesis to one another. Its like comparing a George Perez to a Simon Bisley lol.
