There's probably going to be a wave for GR based on the 50th promo. I think the success of this speculated HasLab will play some sort of role as to whether a wave comes to fruition. I'm actually excited for it and I'm far from the biggest GR guy. My investment is Mephisto, Blackheart, Ketch + bike, and, if they tangentially shoehorn him in, Son of Satan. Robbie is just a super slick new expression that I'm willing to add to my collection despite not knowing much about him based solely on strength of design. It worked that same way for me and Miles Morales; no connection and firmly Petey all the way, but that uni was too dope to deny.

I really believe that Ketch is all but guaranteed as the character's 90's nostalgia can support a retail release. Dunno about Blaze and an old timey chopper. I'd definitely buy it, but we got the Harley version not so long ago...

Yah but that cruiser hellbike isnt nearly as badass as the ol chopper hellbike. Plus i wanna be able to swap skullhead for a normal head for blaze and dan.

I think Robbie is now bonded to a Spirit of Vengeance with Eli being removed. So he's got all the powers.

autoboty 07-26-2022 06:32 PM

Whether they make the bike or the car, they had damn better put a sparking gimmick on the wheels so it shoots real flames when it's rolled!

MeLikeJinx 07-26-2022 07:49 PM

Since it is the 50th anniversary I doubt this is gonna be the MCU Charger Ghost Rider. Also IMO the new Batmobile kinda made the Hell Charger less cool by being more cool looking.

Honoring the 50th anniversary of Ghostrider with Robbie Reyes would be such a huge slap in the face of Johnny Blaze...

Dr Kain 07-26-2022 09:49 PM

I really don't think anyone but Reyes would benefit from a Haslab Ghost Rider line. Bikes are easy to do in stores, a giant ass car, not so much.

Oof. Really? Let me guess, Jason Aaron in Avengers?

God, I can't wait until he's off that title.

Dolemite 07-27-2022 06:25 AM

Count me in with the people who want a Blackheart figure.

IzzyTipsy 07-27-2022 06:58 AM

Makes me wonder if Robbie is coming to the MCU first

He was in Agents of SHIELD.

Now that Marvel got back all their properties, so technically he's already in it?

User897 07-27-2022 08:25 AM

Oh boy! a $400 Rider with bike! Thank you, hasblo!

He was lined up to get his own show but they cancelled the project as all the Disney Plus stuff happened. Id love to see the actor return.

Whatever the Hasblab is, I feel it need to go heavy on fire effects. They need to be removable as well. LED galore as well. Then randomly throw in a Daredevil because he's so hot right now.

Now to avoid a Rancor. Follow Tranformers. Keep the price low. Don't do a $350+ unless it is ABSOLUTELY amazing. It would be preferable of Galactus was shipping out and we got a bit of time after HISS. I'm just there is is some overlap between HISS and Marvel Legends.

I didn’t know Nicolas Cage played ghost rider, I just know of him because of that odd Willy’s wonderland movie.

They really need to clean house on the Star Wars side of Hasbro, that's 2 crowdfunding campaigns in a row now that failed (Rancor and the Reva Lightsaber).

They were not very good, especially the sequel.

TheBlueMarvel 07-27-2022 01:05 PM

To continue the non sequiturs: Mandy...now that was a Cage movie.

Actually, going to go see 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' tomorrow as a Fathom Event. It was his big screen debut as far as I know.

Never watch them.

Mandy was a weird trip, glad I saw it.

Fast Times was technically his first real movie but he's hardly in it I forget if he even has any lines. Valley Girl or Rumble Fish would mark his first actual big screen performance, whichever came out first.

I'm glad I saw it too, but I watch all of Nick's movies, been a fan since Raising Arizona.

Here's another trippy flic if you haven't seen it and are a Cage and Lovecraft-esque fan: Color Out of Space.

Oh come on. The wicker man was, as galvatron said, bad comedy ;)

I've been hoping all afternoon that someone would mention that one (though I apparently couldn't be assed to do so myself).

Easily his best, IMHO.

I don't know if I'd say it's his best performance but I adore that film.

Got that sucker on Blu-Ray. Another to throw out there is Lord of War. I'd recommend it. Also while corny I really liked The Rock.
