Just found a Ney'tiri at retail..jake was gone. No banshees to be found. I am not happy with the scale (oh well). But the figure itself is great. Love that crab mech. Alot of customizer will want this for spider-man related bots. Plus alot can done with simple repaints. I'll be getting two of em.

Seems like there are zero figures to pilot those AMP and Crab suits.

The article mentions an "RDA Pilot" figure with the AMP suit.

Pretty sure IzzyTipsy was referring to the bigger 7" scale figures. The first 7" scale AMP suit didn't come with a pilot, so yeah, I don't think these come with pilots either. Todd just haven't announced the next wave of human figures yet.

So I guess the 40 dollar AMP suit and Crabsuit are actually Joe-sized then?

I still have an AMP suit, the RDA Grinder and Gunship from the original toy line in my Joe display, but the Crabsuit might be cool to add. I hope we get a larger Sea Wasp too - that has some good repaint potential.

Honestly though, I'd love for Mattel or someone to do Hot Wheels/Titaniums-style vehicles from this property. Or better yet, a line like the Lightyear Lightspeed series of ships. There are quite a few neat designs - I'd love a Dragon Assault Ship.

Really awesome collection you have.

Boogieman4hire 10-19-2022 11:29 AM

Contemplating that robot crab with how great the AMP suit turned out.

Did this movie bomb? I haven't been paying attention... I really wanted to get one of those AMP suits, but it was still 40 bucks at my Target... was expecting the movie to bomb and the toys to go on clearance real fast like how the Buzz Lightyear movie bombed hard and all the toys went on sale... guess not though. I guess it is all about expectations too... I think Black Adam did pretty good, but was still considered a bomb since it will barely break even or have a tiny profit after all is said and done.

Avatar Way of Water did well, not a blockbuster like the first one, but it's on track to be a success nonetheless. That said, the Target/Walmart Avatar sections are still clogged with Avatar toys, even the week after Christmas, so just wait a little longer, those will be on clearance soon. Question is, will the AMP suits still be around. I see all the smaller scale figures will still be around.

Raine24 12-29-2022 03:44 PM

It's nuts how much the box office landscape has shifted that the new Avatar can hit $1 billion like a week earlier than its predecessor and that's considered less successful.
