Even Neca has held back their turtles playsets. I’m sure they are reading the room on cash flow for the collectors of the world. |

Mikey likes it. There are some really amazing collectors out there now. It warms my heart.

Well so much for a cheap 'distance' display piece. Only way I can see myself getting this is another stimulus check... (hint hint Joe)

Flynn said in an interview that the price on it will be $650 with a flat $100 shipping. Isn't that cheaper than Snake Mountain was?
|
I paid $780 total for snake mountain, but I did the payment plan so it was a bit more than just flat out buying it.
I think $800 or less was where this needed to be and looks like that is what it will be. Now, will they offer a payment plan and will other stores ( BBTS, Entertainment Earth, Amazon, Sideshow, Best Buy, etc) offer this as well? Yet to be announced I guess. |

Maybe one of the stretch goals will be Star Trek The Next Generation's twice cancelled Guinan.
But they can't cross licenses, so they tooled a new head and created Grrnun, a cat bartender. |

Could you guys imagine if, a year after this is released, they announced a Cat's Lair "supplement" that was basically the area beneath the "Claws" in the attached pic?
It added another foot to the height, was 36" wide at the base and tapered to 29.3". The Lair would sit on top of it. It would be longer than the actual base of the Lair and top was sculpted to resemble the "courtyard". It acted as a garage for the T-Tank and hanger for the Feliner (unannounced and I'm dreaming here). The front and sides were canyon walls and featured a hidden "Hanger Door". The total height of both would clock in at around 49". That would make The Cat's Lair the largest action figure "play set" ever created. I'm done talking crazy. For now. |
