Going to PO Beast-Man on Friday. He looks amazing. I really like some of the reinterpretations that Mondo is doing.

They have been totally killin it since Deluxe He-Man. It's like they used that figure to course correct then just blasted off. He-Man and Battle Cat are the most impressive set in my display room. They stop me everytime I walk in.

Yeah, theres definitely been some course correcting going on with these Mondo Motu figures. With those first releases of Skeletor & He-Man, it was more like "why?" And these last couple of reveals have been more like "yeah!!" Lol

I'm right there with y'all. Told myself I was only going to get Deluxe He-Man, Battle Cat and Skeletor. But if I were only going to buy ONE of Skeletor's henchman his whipping boy is probably the best choice.

I will say the "throwback head" is strangely irritating. Because it looks really good. It would probably be the one I would use the most. Unlike the straight vintage reproduction "throwaway" heads we got with HM & Skelly.

May Thamtarana sculpted the portraits. It's as if he said,"Will you let me sculpt a throwback folk will definitely use?" Wish they would have done that previously. Not so much for Skeletor. But He-Man could have DEFINITELY benefited from a usable "throwback" head.

Those early throwback heads needed to be done like how the Oo-Lar throwback head was done for classics.

Or like their new new Beast-Man head was handled.

Gotta pass on the purple kitty. As it is, Battlecat takes up an entire shelf by himself. Looks great tho.

The pic of cape flared Skeletor on a huge purple cat got me. I think, as a set, Skeletor and Panthor are even more striking than He-Man and BC. That light blue and purple combo is incredible.

But it's going to be a challenge to display. As you well know and Webz stated HM/BC take up and entire table/shelf. I may have to go vert and build a cliff dio or something.

Got email notification Mondo Skeletor just shipped! Shipped DHL for some reason

Same with me, and coming from China rather than Austin. But another member on TFW said that was how his Prince Adam was shipped.

Yeah it's weird. I guess they are shipping directly from the factory? Hope it doesn't take 2 weeks.

My Panthor box has a shipping tag from China but it went to Amplify. Then they shipped it to me.

Mondo revealed Deluxe Timed Edition Scare Glow at DesignerCon 2023. Sorry the pic is so crappy. It's from ToyShiz's coverage and the only image I could find.

The cape is exuding some strong Spawn vibes. Dig it.

I really would have liked if they did what they did with that 12" classic MOTU version with the bones wrapped in clear plastic. I am not big on the character but that was like the ideal approach to take with him.

That could be REALLY cool. black bones wrapped in GITD translucent light green plastic.

Day 23 in my "Mondo Shipped my Skeletor straight from China via DHL" debacle. DHL is the WORST logistics company in the world. I've called DHL, chatted with DHL and just got off the phone with Customs, who according to DHL, has put a hold on my package. The WONDERFUL lady (not being sarcastic. She was wonderfully helpful) at Customs straight up laughed. Cinci Customs is actually located in the DHL facility. She's going to find out what's up and call me back. When Customs Lady pulled up the package info she says,"Woah". Check out the tracking history on this thing...

Geez..
