They ARE scaled with NECA stuff, dude. 1/10 scale is 7 inches.

Thatannoyingguy 02-25-2025 05:31 AM

Very cool! I like this a lot, but the scale. Too big for Mafex Robocop.

themadbubbler 02-25-2025 08:04 AM

Yeah, the lack of swivel-arm movement is disappointing, but hopefully it's there (or will be there), but is just hidden well. Besides that, looks solid! Price will be the biggest factor for me.

JFS Toys did the full pre-order reveal of all the figures on Facebook.

The good news: They look pretty good...aside from the completely blank, bored expressions on all of their faces. Very weird choice, given they all had very over-the-top personalities in the movie.

The bad news: They're $60 EACH, $275 FOR THE ENTIRE SET. That's just completely insane.

And the really bad news: ZERO ARM SWIVELS, meaning it's literally impossible for them to do ANY kind of two-handed gun pose. This is a MASSIVE design flaw, one that JFS themselves illustrated with the laughably derpy pictures they posted of their figures "holding" their Cobra Assault Cannons (see below, it's comical).

Previously I was all-in on this, but the absurd pricing combined with the articulation and design screw-ups...I might pick up a Clarence, but that's it.

Wow. So close yet so far.

Dolemite 04-03-2025 11:39 AM

Yeah, I was so hyped for this line, but the disappointment is real.

Price is one thing, backwards development in figure development is another.

dukefett 04-04-2025 08:30 AM

I wish they'd be better, but this is probably one of those 'nobody else is making these' situations. I still cannot believe some no name company got actual Robocop license, let alone the actors' licenses for all of these guys.

I'd almost rather they reused body parts instead of all unique body sculpts here, even if less accurate, if it let them do better arm articulation. I don't even get providing accessories they can't really use.

That aside $275 to be all in and done with these guys to me isn't terrible considering the prices of everything. I see people making guys with $20-30 custom heads that you need to buy another figure for, so you're in for $60-70 already.

NECA's that sell in ever Target/Walmart in the US are $40. Another $20 for these guys that NECA wouldn't even touch beyond Clarence perhaps is just the price to be in the game. I'm on the fence, but I just bought a dragon lol/

I don't know much about action figure development, but I can't imagine that adding some kind of bicep swivel would jack up the cost per figure much, if at all.

Eeehhhhhhh...I hate to say it, but you made a decent point. Still, the price alone will limit how many of these they sell, but the hardcore will absolutely plunk down the dough. ESPECIALLY considering that no other company will probably make these guys in our lifetimes. I've certainly spent stupid money on some stuff in my collection.

At least Clarence has a pistol, so he'll look fine in one-handed weapon poses, at least. Emil might have to be purchased as well, dammit.

But again, the lack of a bicep swivel nearly reduces these to glorified ReAction figures. I wonder if some genius will find a way to mod these figures? I'd think an experienced customizer could add swivels somewhere...

IzzyTipsy 04-05-2025 07:57 AM

Clarence will probably sell. But I can't see many people dropping $60 each for the rest of them.

Maybe for the mutated Emil if that's coming?

Phantom 04-05-2025 07:24 PM

This would have been five instant buys, if not for the fact that they're horribly oversized for the rest of my collection.

Dolemite 04-11-2025 04:16 AM

Apparently on Facebook JFS Toys said that the final versions of these figures will actually have arm swivels. If so, that would indeed be a good thing.

Apparently they're based out of France, and they said because they're a small company and the cost of manufacturing and acquiring the license and likeness rights were high, $60 is the best they can do per figure.

I guess they heard enough of people complaining about the missing arm swivel. If that's the case then, and they will have arms swivels after all, then I might just go for them.

RoboCop – The Villains of Old Detroit Pre-Order

https://www.toyark.com/wp-content/up...igures-068.jpg

Dolemite 05-19-2025 07:40 AM

Well, they appeared to have made good on their word and actually added swivels to the figures' arms so they can properly hold their weapons! Good for them.

The final figures look pretty good, too. Although it is weird that the studio had them remove the cigarette from Emil's head sculpt because they don't want to promote smoking...but apparently murdering police officers is okay! lol

But in addition to $60 per figure, plus an additional $39(!!) for shipping, PLUS whatever Orange Anus' tariffs add on...OUCH. That's painful. There goes getting the entire set for me, sadly, but Clarence and (possibly) Emil are must-haves at least.

Joe Moore 05-19-2025 12:44 PM

JFS clarified that additional retailers will offer these, but only once they are produced. So expect BBTS to offer them closer to October, or right after (if and when these get produced). But the shipping kills it for me, just can't justify near $100 per figure. So hopefully if/when they go up on BBTS, they're a more reasonable cost.

Nice...
Realyy Nice ;^)

$99 per figure is crazy. That's like Revoltech or Figma pricing.

Oh, it's going to be MORE than $99 a figure with the tariffs included.

It's like Trump is directly fucking all toy collectors with his retarded bullshit. Fuck him.

You have to wonder if they had a bigger company make these maybe the prices would have been "low" enough that the stupid tariffs wouldn't have killed these even further.

But more than $100 per figure? Yeah, that seems like it's gonna kill these.

JerpJerp 05-27-2025 09:02 PM

How is NECA not the first to make these figures?
