I don't care if it's in the MU or Spiderman line. I just really want to see it. I love the web head!

If you want a fantastically articulated Spidey to fit into the MU line, check out the SDCC Exclusive movie Spidey. It has crazy amounts of articulation. It's got the new neck, same as Colossus and the IM2 Advanced/Arctic Armours, double jointed elbows, thigh cuts and calf cuts, plus, this was the most suprising of all, cut and hinged wrists and ankles, in addition to all the other standard articulation.

It was mind-boggling to find that amount of articulation on such a small-scale figure...and it does not hurt the figure in the least.

I've only picked up two MU figures myself, Modern Iron Man and Ult. Cap, but I have to say, they are really impressive. I was never a fan of the 3 3/4 scale until IM2, but I think the MU figures are even better than those.

Unfortunately for me, no stores in Taiwan carry the line, so online is the only way to go and shipping to Taiwan is so ridiculous. :(

EDIT: I meant cut and hinged wrists and ankles.

actually i dont like too much for this tiny figures, but i dont have choice when Toybiz stop produce showdown and i need to complete all my Marvel team superhero (such avengers, defenders, excalibur, except xmen). Hasbro quit good to produce tiny toys, which quite the same with showdown but different sculpt and etc (but some of them have quite different size so its too funny to display them together). So i start collect MU but not all series i have to buy, only selected character that fit to my superhero team.
Along your positive opinion for this MU, maybe only 1 negative, HASBRO have to stop produce the same figures in every new line of their marvel universe series ( you can count how many version of spiderman, wolverine, and HULK already come from the start, and sometimes, its make me annoyed ). for some collector its okay to have their favourite figures release come again and again and again, but not of all people want that way. example??..you can see on secret wars next series, where you only can found SENTRY as new figures !!! the rest is repaint, reissue from previous series (and i found spidey again on that series, OMG !!! )

Hasbro makes some mistakes, but they fix their mistakes uncannily fast. I feel razzle-dazzled with every wave. I found Wave 4 last night at Wal-Mart and they were so beautiful my eyes started to tear up. The Skrull Warrior may be the single most beautiful marvel figure ever released.

I started buying ToyBiz with the first Marvel Heroes set and, for the time, they were amazing. Then they released Thor and Iron Man and it set off a decade of some of the worst figure waves ever. Scale was inconsistent, most waves only had one or two figures worth collecting, and you never knew when you were going to get a figure that fell apart straight out of the package.

When ToyBiz released the Spider-Man Classics and the Marvel Legends, Marvel Toys were almost dead. It was ML wave 6 before I saw more than 4 pegs of Marvel figures again.

I could come up with complaints about Hasbro, but they've done amazing things. If they gave me Aunt May flying a Quinjet at this point, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't mind a few more unmasked heads, and the plastic hip joints confuse me, but I'm happy. Hasbro has made me happy.

I read it and agree with most. My major complaints aren't many, more or less annoying. I love the Hulk but I don't need 9 different shades, unless the headsculpt is different or bodysculpt, spend the time creating/marketing another figure, or a figure who doesn't have a variant yet, like a female bullseye, or aunt may instead of mary jane. I dig the artwork the scale of the universe/market they're trying to create but we need diversity in shipping, for me there's only a few stores that even carry them walmart, zellers, sometimes winners and I have 2 comic stores that may get the odd piece but for the most part I'd have to order a case inorder for them to bring it in

The thing I hated the most was showing up to a store on the hunt for figures only to find out that that they restocked with an entire new wave an there's only 4 different figures and half you don't want, lol... I picked up black widow and only thing else was luke cage mrs marvel and mary jane, I know someone has a thor that was meant for me.. lol.. they really should have a dedicated wall segment of pegboad, and they should sell them on the site continuously, sell parts, accessories, vehicles, bases, rare 1's and make a ton of $$

Thanks for the info. I actually hate the movie Spiderman in general but when that figure was getting its air time I did think it looked pretty good. Is it really all that articulated? Can someone who has one maybe throw up some pics showing off what he can do. That would be awesome! I just don't want to drop $20.00 - $30.00 unless I know he rocks!

Something to consider if you're a IM2 collector. The new modern armor and arctic armors look cool but are really small. their like XMO Wolverine short almost. I thought they looked bad ass so I ordered them when Hasbro put them up but I was sad when I got them. They're in the fodder box now. Save your money guys.

I was lucky enough to find a Mystique and Multiple man at regular price at a local comic shop. That was the most awesome hunting experience I've had recently...sadly, though, I will not divulge the name of this comic shop, because times is tough in Cali. I can't afford no competition right now :p

Well, Hasbro's involvement with distribution ends when they ship the products to the retailers' warehouses. All Hasbro can do is relay information to TPTB at their retail partners.

But kudos on finding Mystique and Maddrox. And I totally understand about not revealing your sources ;)

Also quite true. One only has to look at MU vs DCIH to see that.

Aunt May and the Quinjet would be awesome. Especially if they did a remold into Blind Al. :D

Believe me, Hasbro tries to get their products sold everywhere they can. But the retailers always have the last say on what they carry. You could try going to stores that carry similar boys' toys and ask why they don't carry MU. If possible, speak to the toy department's manager.

It also sucks that you guys don't have Target. So far, they've been the best bet in the US for finding new MU figures.

Strange, my Arctic armour is the same height as all my other standard armour (as in non-bulked up armours like Hulkbuster) IM2 figures. You mean they're short compared to MU figures?

Hope you enjoy the Spidey when you get it. I was at work, so I couldn't snap some pics for you, but yeah, it really is that articulated. Still blows my mind they were able to put that much articulation into such a small figure without having to make any sacrifices.

It's not as small as I thought when I posted that. But it's a little smaller and has a very small head so I just don't like it. I was really looking foreword to getting it but like I said I just wasn't happy with it.
