The second image says "20cm Collector Figure (Classic)". I think 20cm is about 8 inches. But the ToyArk report says the 6 inch line is the classic one, so who knows what line is what, exactly. It would be nice if they made both new and classic styles in both scales.

I was devastated, furious and heartbroken when I found out Ban Dai America got the Thundercats license. I couldn't even comment at the time. Judging by the never-evolving quality of their Power Rangers toys, my hopes were non-existant. But over time I've become accustomed to the idea, and will hold full judgement until I see better images of the toys. But this leak has me cautiously optimistic, as someone else said. Ban Dai had better do a good job, if they know what's good for them. Because if these are nice, quality action figures....I'll be buying every last one in each scale. I'll start saving right now.

Crazy Jetty 01-26-2011 07:10 PM

Cheetara officially rocks hard.

Colder Soldier 01-26-2011 08:43 PM

Tigra's redesign is all kinds of awesome.

And I guess I may have missed something, but what company is making these???

*EDIT*

Oh. Bandai. Sadly, that'll either be a weak hit or a strong miss. The Thundertank should be good though. It may have to become a Cobra vehicle if the new Cat's figs aren't par enough to drive it.

Superquad7 01-27-2011 04:50 AM

This looks really awesome!

Primacron 01-27-2011 06:20 AM

I think this will be the last of the great 80's/early 90's franchises to get a relaunch!

Purely subjective of course.

nomad1632 01-27-2011 08:28 AM

hey does anyone know what toy company in making these?

bandai. and here's hoping the articulation on the 3 3/4 line is better than the ben 10 crap they put out. AND that the plastic is better than power rangers stuff. these toys need to feel solid and not like hollow shells.

i remain cautiously optimistic.

Bandai, you can see the little red square in the packaging and flier pieces pictures.

nomad1632 01-27-2011 02:55 PM

damn bandai!! now I'm worried I was hoping it would be hasbro if its bandai I fear we wont be getting good articulation.

We definitely need more higher res photos!!!!

brianregan09 01-27-2011 04:33 PM

Bandai will probaly do similar to the ben ten figures and there just ewww

sabretoothe 01-27-2011 05:21 PM

We still have Voltron coming up too.

Spacemafia 01-27-2011 05:51 PM

Ugh hated Bandai's DBZ figs.......jakks was way better....

jestermon 01-30-2011 10:50 AM

Hey does anyone want my old Monkian w hat, Jackal man w club, Lion-O w glove, and headless Cheetara cause I'm getting new ones.

Man this will be as nice as when I got the new Beachhead to replace my old dinged up one.

I hope they will make a line of small figures like the old line so you can have a ton of Thunder on your desk as well.

jestermon 01-30-2011 11:24 AM

Forgot to put it, but the armor on Lion-O looks like the armor from the fake movie trailer that the guy used the Alexander movie footage from.

Can't wait for this.
