Man..I can't find an April anywhere. Really hoping that when stores begin stocking for the holidays all these I can't find like her and a couple others will become more available.

Ravenxl7 09-30-2014 03:27 PM

I'm kinda hoping they redo April at some point. Kinka like the second Shredder and battle shell Turtles they did. I like the figure I have, but it'd be nice to see them put a bit more effort into her.

As for finding one now, I would be rather surprised if they were still packing wave 1 figures into the cases. Then again, I did find a Splinter a couple of weeks ago.

decepticon_mark 09-30-2014 03:45 PM

Splinter peg warms round here. April,Rahzar,Slash, and Newtralizer are the holy grails in these parts.

april

I am pretty sure I have seen april at one of the stores here. If you want I can pick her up for you at cost plus shipping. I plan to go hunting for the new ones again thursday or friday. shoot me an email at chaosorc@verizon.net if you want me to keep an eye out

Bradsdadg 09-30-2014 05:11 PM

If you go online right now on Walmart, it shows April as available to buy. You can do store pickup to save shipping as well. Beats paying ebay prices anyway

My first Turtles appreciation...

decepticon_mark 10-02-2014 11:42 AM

Picked up Snakeweed this morning. Pretty cool little figure and though he's not as big in the show he is at least twice the size of the Turtles.

Ravenxl7 10-02-2014 10:51 PM

That's been an isue with a lot of the figures. Though Snakeweed is one of the worst ones. Donatelo, the tallest of the Turtles, might come up to Snakeweed's knee in the show.

One of the issues of Playmates making everyone at the same price-point. Also affects the articulation and paint-apps.

RichardC 10-03-2014 02:39 AM

Be glad when I can hunt agian looking forward to finding tiger claw

Yeah that's my biggest complaint after a month of collecting Turtles is the scale but coming from a ML collector and all the complaints I have currently with them it's not such a bad thing.

Oh and good to see you here on the Ark RichardC. Bout time

Thanks bro...but believe it or not I actually found one along with a Newtralizer but I wanted to let you know that your fellow arker appreciates your offer.

Does anyone have pictures of what the packaging looks like for the comic book Turtles?

TheLongestDay 10-04-2014 04:51 AM

Does anyone else mix the lines? I like to use the wave 1 Nick Turtles with the 2002 Shredder and Vintage bad guys. I also like the Movie April (Megan Fox) the best out of all the Aprils I have.

decepticon_mark 10-04-2014 05:02 AM

I mix the lines too in a way. I've gotten several of the movie Foot soldiers as mercenary/thugs for the Turtles to fight.

Im lacking Foot Soldiers, I only have one vintage one but I never did like those so Im gonna try and get a bunch of Nick ones. I have 2 on the way from eBay but I would ideally like about 6 :)

decepticon_mark 10-04-2014 05:44 AM

I've got 4 of the Nick Foots but want bout 4 more. Love army building so want 8 or so Foot and Kraang who I have 4 of. Need 3 Squirrelnoids and at least 4 or so of the Footbots. Then feel the need for at least 2 of the Biotroids when they come out

They look very similar to the Nick TMNT,I am guessing they will be mixed in on the pegs of the regular figures

Okay, but the lettering is in a different color. That helps me out since for some reason, TRU felt it was necessary to just dedicate an entire isle to turtles stuff.

RichardC 10-04-2014 08:14 AM

I saw three of the mirage turtles this morning mixed in with the regular ones. Found my daughter and I both a tigerclaw this morning

decepticon_mark 10-06-2014 11:17 AM

Really wanting more show accurate Turtles so would it be better to headswaps some of the LARP turtles with the basic ones I have or just buy the battle shell versions to replace the basic ones? Any help would be appreciated.

I bought the battle shells for that reason, I think that's the best option

decepticon_mark 10-07-2014 11:12 AM

Thanks. Picked up Raph and Leo since they were the less toon accurate of the basic four. So far I'm really digging them. Leg articulation is a little different but otherwise I'm pleased as long as the opening shell feature doesn't become an issue. I'll probably go after Donnie next.

Dr Kain 10-08-2014 09:09 AM

I think I am going to pass on the comic book ones and just go with the NECA ones. I was really interested in them, but the lack of wrist articulation and the battle damage look just looks bad. Plus, I doubt Playmates is going to give us an April and Shredder to go with them.

decepticon_mark 10-08-2014 01:36 PM

Saw the Mirage Turtles at Target today but someone had beaten me to Tigerclaw and the Robotic Foot. Well least I know they're in the area. Beats the heck outta ML. Anyway those looking for the Mirage Turtles they stick out like sore thumbs among the cartoon ones. There were at least two or three full sets.
