I hope the 6" line is pumped up with a big roster becauae the figures are excellent! Hope we see flashback Panthros, Grune, LionO's dad, and more!

I would disagree on that one. The one with the plant people, imo, wasn't that great. However, there have been more great episodes than bad ones.

The show for me is definitely solid. I compare it similarly to GI Joe Renegades. I think the series is kind of starting a bit slow, but will definitely pick up. Good to see Jackalman is coming in. Can't wait to see Monkian!

the 6" mumra looks goofy with buckteeth,we need a bad a$$ classic style, the 4" version wouldnt be bad if he had articulation.

BlackMagnus 09-10-2011 06:36 PM

First go at shooting Lion-O, not entirely happy with it but, we'll see what the verdict is.

I liked the plant people episode... it reminded me of the Trial of Omens sequence from the original series where Lion-O was learning how to be a better leader.

I forget what lesson he learned in the plant episode, but do remember appreciating it for its attempt to teach something.

The Duelist and the Drifter was my favorite episode so far.

I think it was something along the lines of how time is relative and that he shouldn't live in the past or worry about the future, but make each moment count. And probably something about how all life is precious, too.

There were probably other lessons mixed in there, but I definitely saw it as character growth for Lion-O.

I'd have to agree with this. More character growth for Lion-O, too.

I just bought my son a custom made Tygra Whip to go with his costume for Halloween

Win Original Thundercats DVD Art From Thundercats.ws

Our sister site is running an awesome Thundercats contest to win a piece of original Thundercats art used for one of the DVD covers.

BlackMagnus 10-28-2011 11:29 AM

Even though this guy towers over the rest of my collection, I love him.:)

For anyone in the UK. Thundercats animated toys are aparently hitting UK retailers on Dec 1st. This may be old news, but I have only just found this out so I thought id share.

Thanks for the head's up dude... Not sure how I feel about the new Thundercats stuff, I'll have to get one in my hands and see for myself. Enjoying the cartoon a boatload though! ^^

Of the 4" line, Lion-O and Tygra are the best and it goes down from there. Haven't picked up any of the 6" line yet, but Peaugh on Youtube did a series of reviews on a bunch of Thundercats merch, if you want to hear more.

Oh yeah dude, caught Peaugh's reviews a while ago... Figures look great, I just gotta get a closer look to see if they're gonna be worth the UK prices! ^^

I would say that Lion-O and Tygra are certainly worth it. Not so sure about the others, unless you're like me and need the whole team. It's one of many reasons I will eventually get the Thundertank too (comes with Snarf and works as a display/storage for the team, too.)

Darkspeed 11-11-2011 04:54 PM

I think the Thundertank is the most impressive set out of the whole Thundercats line so far... The fact it can hold all the 'Cats is a great bonus (Is that the 4 or 6 inch ones, btw?)

M3T4L V1KING 12-03-2011 01:08 PM

Just picked up the 8" Tygra and Lion-o. Quality figures right there.

Tiberius 12-03-2011 01:11 PM

Is there any info on anymore 8" figures coming out?

Nope. Nothing at all.

Darkspeed 12-08-2011 10:24 AM

Finally getting the Thundercats displays in my town... Some nice figures, but none that really jump out at me at the moment except perhaps Grune. The woman working in the store was saying that the most sought after one is the small Wilykit, surprisingly - Apparently she is hard to find! ^^;

CLASSIFIED 12-08-2011 10:59 AM

I'm excited for the 6" classics line.

Mastersteef 12-08-2011 11:09 AM

This is slightly off topic, but I bought the Season 1 part 1 dvd (of the new Series) on Black friday and just got around to start watching it and DAMN...I just finished "Song of The Petalars" and I'm crying like a baby. :,D

CLASSIFIED 12-08-2011 11:15 AM

I liked that episode too, but the Drifter and the Swordsman was my flavorite.

Primacron 12-10-2011 10:11 AM

I have to admit to being very happy at the announcement of the 6" Classics line, but the initial figures have just hit the UK so I picked up 8" Lion-O as a stop gap until the 6" figures hit and.........

it's awesome.
