Something else I like about this line... the variants. I don't necessarily need the rarer variant version, but there's something about Hasbro dropping in some unannounced changes that is just kinda fun, or maybe even "neat," to me. If they officially give variant info/details, I don't know about it, so I'm assuming it's just a "the fans/collectors will figure it out" and for whatever reason,.. I love it!

hah i know what you mean, a trip to my local comic shop today alerted me to the fact that the punisher figure has 3 different heads..

I've been collecting the line since seeing the very first Toyfare article pre-wave 1. A uk collector has a bit more of a challenge seeing as our stockists our pretty much are only specialist sellers but the quality, variety and general coolness of the line keeps bringing me back.

A Marvel Univers Afternoon.. I mean morning
 

Time for a little story. So I took a personal day from work today to do NOTHING. A "mental health day," if you will. So with all of the recent awesome MU releases, random Capt Amer & DoTM finds, I figure why not hit some stores early and see if I get lucky (I work a 9-5, so I'm never in stores before 6pm). My route of four stores (2 Walmarts, 1 Target, 1 TRU) is all mapped out. I walk into the first Walmart around 9:30, say hello to the weirdo they have stationed at the entrance, then I shift myself into high gear and head for toys. As I turn the corner towards the toy section, I see an older woman with a cart full of toy looking cases. I usually don't ask, and have never been there as things (I want) are being unpacked, so I slowly creep by on my way to the good aisle, and notice a Marvel case with the top opened, but couldn't see if it was full or empty. So I go to the MU's and the pegs are way full, so I'm excited... "wtf is this shit! Mordern Thor! Sunfire! FUCKING AIM SOLDIER!?!?!!" As I'm whining to myself the woman that was unpacking goes walking by talking on her walkie talking saying that she's on her way.. she's walking fast.. it must have been huge. So I look around like Bond, James Bond, then sneak over to the cart, but I don't dive right in.. I creep by again.. I don't stop... I give a confused glance down the baby aisle.. not sure why... then I creep back over to the cart and get closer... look over my shoulders then back to the case... I see Spiderwoman... "is she in the kickass new wave?! fuck it.. I'm digging in." So I look in and there's the mother-load... the good shit. I grabbed these fuckers and flew to check out before anyone could see me... I'm so weird. I get to checkout and the woman keeps checking her seat.. yup, she has a seat because she's enormous. "fucking check me out before someone catches me, jabba!" She finally scans my shit.. I swipe my card.. she asks credit or debit like it fucking matters, I'm already past this point on the touchpad,.. boom.. I'm out. Cross off the other three stores, go get a baseball game, go home and relax. Today was a good day.

Bucky is awesome, but I think his shield is too, so I might not be the best person to ask. I passed on all of the other comic Caps, but this was a must have for me. Quality on mine is pretty decent.

Nice collection Tiberius, I saw the pics and thought it was my collection for a second, haha.
I like how you used the Marvel Legends human torch base on the Invaders torch, I have both of those as well.

Awesome set up, Tiberius. I can't find that Carnage or Rhino anywhere.

..I did just find Black Panther today though. I wasn't too familiar with the character, but when I found out a movie is in the works I looked into him and he became a must have for this fool.

Thanks for the comments! A lot of these figures I had to get off ebay loose or when my friends go down to the states to check Target for figures. That Carnage I actually found in Wal-Mart and almost squeeled. I honestly didn't know how "rare" that figure can be. Regretted opening it XD

@Marv0850: You have inspired me to take pics of the Avengers collection I have. Pics will fallow sooner or later.

I don't have a car but wasted 2 cab rides in efforts to find some new thor figures or cap, but nothing, same damn MU figures that I already have, I passed on a couple IM2 figures that were on for 4-5, I did snag an IM2 mark 2 hall of armour, mainly for the display base, my Zeller's had them on for $6.99 I'm debating on opening my concept packs soley for displaying the holographic armour in the armoury base. I may result in ordering online rather then hunting, but hunting is fun, and cheaper.
