That new head sculpt on the Hulk is why I don't trust Hasbro. I wanted to buy the Hulk that was already on the pegs, but I didn't like the head sculpt. Now Hasbro is putting out that same Hulk with a better head sculpt. So now everybody who bought the first Hulk now has to buy this new one to get the better head. It's almost an intentional "mistake" on Hasbro's part, just to sell more.

ghostdog0081 07-22-2009 09:34 AM

SICK!! Thor! Hawkeye! this line looks like it's gonna have some great figs, I better start saving some dough!

Prem1x 07-22-2009 10:34 AM

Can't wait to hear release dates on on these goodies.

Looks like black Spidey doesn't have blue paint highlights. That's good. Maybe their listening to fan feedback?

This is a pretty good line of toys.

uberlad 07-22-2009 10:38 AM

i'm sure these won't be released all at once, so at least it gives me a little bit of time to save.

i didn't realize how awesome the secret wars comic packs were going to be. they are far and away my favorite part of the line! i can't argue with the character choices for the rest of the figures, either. to think that comic-con isn't even in full swing yet makes me really excited for the future of the mu line.

Banshee 07-22-2009 11:05 AM

Who's the guy next to hawkeye?

CrownCoke 07-22-2009 11:22 AM

Piledriver - a member of the Wrecking Crew with Thunderball (guy with Spiderman), and hence we basically get the same mold used... And I love it. That is almost the perfect base to make a superman custom in this scale.

I don't see what that has to do with fan feedback.

Some artists draw him with blue highlights. Some don't.

Putting blue highlights on the figure wasn't a flaw.

Prem1x 07-22-2009 11:32 AM

It will be interesting if Hawkeye's physique is larger than Ronin's. Biceps look bigger.

'cuse my knowlege of the Universe, but who's the generic toughguy next to Hawkeye? (Piledriver - answered above thanks)

I love the 2-pack Hulk. Slightly greener, better paint on the jeans' ripped threads, and a more-action oriented head sculpt. Nice job.

Comics can be silly though. Dr. Richards is pretty ripped for being a scientist and primarily stretchy. And why wouldn't they give him some elongated arms? Probably waiting for the single-card repack.

Not seeing the highlights reminded me of at one or two reviews I read of the 018 figure. I'm pretty sure Hasbro reads at least some reviews. And I will personally prefer a straight black. Just personal pref.

Agreed, I've been biding my time until they released a "pure" black one.

Magneto seems pretty jacked too.. don't remember him ever being that big as well.

*looks at pictures of Magneto on Google*

Wait... what?

He's not ALWAYS drawn buff, but it's been done a number of times.

Coner74 07-22-2009 01:06 PM

I kinda want to get an extra deadpool from xmo and get two of hawkeye to open one and have him facing off with DP to re-create the recent Deadpool/Bullseye arc.

ludovicotek 07-22-2009 02:46 PM

I am freaking out over here. I can't wait to get my filthy mitts on these MU figures. That Hawkeye looks so sick. Ultron, Warpath, Sunfire, Jean Grey, Enchantress!!! The new Secret Wars comic packs are all must haves!!!!!!!

Sad that the Thor is classic and not the modern. Still want him, though.

Gonna be so broke. But at least I'll have my toys.

That Jean Grey could be made into a Rogue custom :)

shibamura_prime 07-22-2009 05:03 PM

Jim Lee Jean Grey? HELLS YEAH!!!

scarecrow 07-22-2009 05:31 PM

Seriously, we're all gonna be broke.

I feel like a part of my life is complete now that they even have a classic Ultron. That and Domino have been my number one desires since the line started. When I get that thing, I may just crap my pants. I may get like ten and army build Ultrons. And I don't army build.

Why, oh why does he come with Mr. Fantastic though?! That would be a perfect opportunity to make an Ant-Man or Wasp to go with him.

Now I'm off to go play with my Ultron Mini-Mate

ludovicotek 07-22-2009 05:49 PM

I hope that they offer a Mr. Fantastic with black gloves/boots. I want my F4 to match costumes and I don't want to buy the repainted Human Torch and Thing for that to happen.

Are we sure that some of these are indeed two-packs? I know that they obviously have them on a stand together, but have they announced any two-packs besides the Secret Wars packs?

scarecrow 07-22-2009 05:50 PM

I'd assume they just didn't have the packaging ready for those figures and they are wave 3(?) figures. If I have to wait until 2010 to get Ultron though I'm going to lacerate myself.

ludovicotek 07-22-2009 05:54 PM

You're probably right. And I'm with you, I really really really reeeeeeaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy hope these come out before the end of the year. It will be a Merry Christmas to me indeed!

scarecrow 07-22-2009 05:58 PM

Word. Seriously, I am not the type of person that is vehement enough to preorder like six of one thing, especially when it comes with one guy who couldn't pass as generic if he tried.. But I'm gonna get as many of Ultron as I can. If only he came with Hawkeye :(

I agree, can't wait for next year for these, would love them NOW but they would definitely make my Christmas for sure. So many that I want: Thor, Enchantress, Warpath, Vision, Sunfire, Jean Grey,Hawkeye, and yes Ultron{who I wanted bad enough for my little universe that I recently picked up the old Villains Vault Ultron}. Patience is definitely NOT one of my virtues.

Syn3sthesia 07-22-2009 06:09 PM

Jean!!! About time.

Ballsdeep212 07-22-2009 06:57 PM

All I have to say is ...DAMN.... Oh yeah and...F*****G sweet !!!!
Any Word on when these will be released ? Hopefully very soon , Also anyone know if the Iron Man Armored Adventures figs will be in the same 3.75" Scale , or what ??

You know, there will actually be a point for the old ML Ultron now. I mean, who wants a stupid version like that when you can have the real thing? Now I can confidently say it's a random-ass tank upgrade of Ultron that he created for special occasions.

P.S. Am I just slow or did no one post the 3.75 inch Iron Man movie figures? If not(and feel free to jump on my lazy ass) here is something I found:http://i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.p...ze=600&start=0

OH SHI...

Those are AMAZING! War Machine?!? Armors with weapons up the wazoo?? Movie AND classic armors??

I'm done with the 6 inch collection. bring on the tiny armors!

I'm more exited about these than I am with the MU 2-packs! (And I'm VERY excited about those 2-packs.)
