Freaking awesome if true!

I still haven't found thanos, so I'd be all over both of these!

Now all that's left on my cosmic wants is Nova Prime, starlord, and modern Quasar.

Well besides the space knights and rom that is.
I do hope we see some of them from the older mini-series that was post-Rom from the various asgardian outfits in the thor line to help balance out the new limb molds.

I am stoked!
I'm personally thrilled that MU makes less mainstream characters- I only hope they continue making figs like Groot and refrain from yet another Wolverine or Spider Man repaint.

Dont worry about the Wonder Man/Quicksilver two pack- it's coming!
I think the Groot/RR might be a comic two pack- they just finished a miniseries of those two and RR is going to be a small figure- he shold be about half a MU in size, so maybe a larger Groot with a small RR as a comic pack?

I think the Warlock will indeed be the Infnity gauntlet version.

And that leaves them poised to make a Starlord/Nova comic pack for our nerdgasm.

Being a comic pack, that would also make Groot rather...small, wouldn't it?

In theory he can be close to 2 times the size of a normal figure if RR is under half the size of a normal figure. Assuming of course they sacrifice elbows and knees on RR.

It is a comic pack so.....IN THEORY they could make Groot as big as the 'comic size back board'. Then they would just increase the bubble size.

But that is far fetch'd

Adam Warlock, awesome!! Definitely one of my all-time Marvel faves.

This right here!!

There are tons of characters that need to be touched on before Rocket Raccoon and Groot! They had an amazing X-Men movie that got zero figures when Emma Frost, Beast, Banshee all still need to be made.

I'm losing faith in Hasbro and their ability to manage the Marvel characters.

\o/ I made the front page again! I want a Correspondant(SP) Title and my own office now please :3 lol

Groot had this reaction to the news:

I AM GROOT!

Snowflakian 06-16-2011 06:22 AM

Nice to see they did manage to slot groot in somewhere. Wasn't a proto shown at a con or toy fair? With the mark TBD, because they weren't sure where they were going to fit him in?

I think it was last toy fair actually this past february. So these packs are probably legit and going to happen.

With all this cosmic covering, I'm curious what wave 5 & 6 2011 will be.

No, they mentioned at the Toy Fair that Rocket Raccoon was getting a figure, but wouldn't say how. There was no prototype that I recall. Thanos and Adam Warlock were definitely confirmed there, though.

Although now we have news on Marvelous News of a Guardians of the Galaxy team pack, it seems more likely this is a team pack, which would make Rocket Raccoon a small, non poseable figure like HERBIE in the Fantastic Four pack. Since I don't know about the current Guardians team, who else would be in there? Vance Astro?
