I got these in a few weeks back. I'm a bit disappointed in them but what can you do when they're the only MK figures availible. I really hope NECA or someone that can do them justice gets the license. Anywho here are a few pics.

Note: Scorpion does not come with a chain to attach his kunai (spear) with. I just used one of those twisty ties that come with other figures.

people are giving these figures a hard time but i think they look fantastic. if thery ever release them in england i will definitely buy them. it only seems scalpers are selling them so far on ebay.

i think they look great though!

I'm still waiting to see the rest of the four inch figures.

I was ready to give them a chance, but once I saw them in person... meh. The only "decent" one is Subzero.. next is Scorpion. Johnny looks "mongoose face," and all the Raiden figures sold here in Manila has a warped hat, it's ridiculous. Not to mention that the face sculpts are off. I also found it funny that they stuck a sticker in the packaging that brags about the figs having 15 points of articulation. :/

About the 4inch figs though, I'm still awaiting for new pics. Any news about them from SDCC? I didn't see any reports about the Jazwares booth.. I'm kinda hoping we'd see about the latest regarding the MK and SF figures..

Hey man I have Scorpion too. Is Sub Zero as hindered in articulation, like on the legs, as Scorpion?

agentsands i thought the same about johnny cage (ive only seen it online though not in person like you) i have no interest in him or even raiden really. its only subzero and scorpion i want to get.

i wonder if series 2 will be any better.

ive not seen any pics of the 4 inch ones to my knowledge. are they in the same suits???

Thanks for the info. I was going crazy searching the net about Jazwares in SDCC. It's crazy they're not even there considering that they even have SDCC exclusives. I was hoping to see more about the 4 inch SF and MK lines. I hope we hear about them soon.

I guess Scorpy and Subby are okay. Raiden is just farkin ugly, it's not even funny. Johnny would've been okay if not for the ugly mug. I guess getting Scorpion and Subzero is not bad. I just couldn't pull the trigger when I saw them. I'll probably get the two one day.

About the 4inchers, Scorpion and the other ninjas are wearing the old Ultimate MK 3 uniforms. Subzero is not yet shown.. but all the ninjas have the same mold so just color one of them blue and you've got Subzero! lol I'm into the 3.75" scale right now so I'm willing to give them a shot as long as the price is good. :)

Here are some quick pics of my modified Sub-Zero, if anything, just wanna encourage people to do the same if they hated the eyes as much as I did. :)
And personally, I think this will be the first and last figure I purchase from this line. NECA/Player Select, please do your magic on MK someday!

I dunno about Scorpion, but I can say that Sub's knee articulation is severely hindered - you only get around like 1.5 cm (I think) of full downwards rotation. It's mostly due to those puffy fringes from his upper hakama(?).

It was Mortal Kombat: Deception. And I swear that's my favorite version of Sub-Zero! I love the Shredder (2003 series, minus that he was a flippin' Utrom!), and I love Sub-Zero, so putting them together for that Cryomancer costume design was awesome!

Kinda wish someone would come out with another figure of that look, since Jazwares basically gave us Martian Manhunter's long lost brother with their Cryomancer Subby figure....

Most likey a different wave, or revision. Wave 1 consists of Scorpion (who is the always absent when I go to get him:mad:), Sub Zero and Raiden.

I saw him yesterday in a comic shop (6" version).

4" Raiden has however been cancelled. :-(

Yeah, I had a pre-order with BBTS and they cancelled it.

^ Got the same message. Oh well. They did add classic ninjas Smoke and Ermac though. One thing I don't get, in the BBTS pre-order description they call the MK2 classic but the pics I've seen of the classics look like MK3 outfits. Hopefully the 4" classic figures will truly be MK2 designs.

So is it just raiden or all them that are cancelled ?
