Got some new loose shots of the Imperial Navy Officer and Imperial Commando from the up-coming TFU II set that was revealed at Comic Con last week. Guess we could be getting this set sooner rather than later.

Thanks to Jedi Defender for the update!

Haloid1177 08-02-2011 01:51 PM

The TFU II set, along with the Republic Commando set, have already been released at retail according to a member of the forums on Yakface.com. He found them at a TRU in CA.

Really? Now that I didn't know. I thought the RC set was only a SDCC 2011 exclusive and wasn't being released at retail. Interesting.

The Republic Commandos set was released at SDCC early, and for a lower price than retail. Similar to what they did with MP Rodimus.

And now I can confirm that these are at retail. Bought a Republic Commandos set for myself and a TFUII pack for a friend. Both packs were $39.99.

Hey Star Wars fans! Fan's of Boba Fett will be able to get their hands on another exciting mail away of the galaxies most feared bounty hunter this year! The Prototype Armor Boba Fett, based off an early concept version of the character used for The Empire Strikes Back, will only be available through mail-away starting in late 2011-early 2012. As with past promotions, UPC's from mass retail figures from the Vintage, Clone Wars, and Saga Legends line will be accepted.

However, with the campaign not starting for a few months still, we still have some time to kill. Thus, our friends over at Sandtroopers.com were kind enough to pass on a nice packaged look at this future mail-away exclusive. This looks to be one beautiful figure, with the same great looking paint and detail that has been Hasbro's Star Wars line for quite some time.

So, while the figure campaign may still be a few months away, sit back and enjoy these beautiful shots of, what I feel, will be another hotly anticipated Star Wars figure for the coming year!

Thanks to Sandtroopers.com for passing these on!

Talisman 08-14-2011 11:13 AM

Damn, gonna have to drop enough money for about three of these- one to keep on card and one to take out for myself, and one MoC for my cousin.

Looks worth it though.

Kudos to them for giving us the pictures, but I really don't like the first one: It appears that Hasbro is trying to avoid having to box the boxes as they did with the prior Fett by using a cardboard tray and support that don't look nearly as sturdy. I know I shouldn't count dead chickens before they're axed, but I might wait a bit before sending my PoPs in once this promotion starts, just to see how well ye olde USPS does with these....

Got some nice, new shots of the soon-to-be-released Vintage Collection Landspeeder from Yakface.com this afternoon. It features a beautifully weather-worn deco and includes Luke's rifle from ANH, that clips onto the side of the vehicle.

Got to love that vintage style packaging too!

Thanks for passing this on, Yakface.com!

According to Hasbro, he's coming, just delayed. But, I feel your pain. Ever since I got my hands on the Kyle Katarn / Vong 2-pack last summer, I've been dying for Nom Anor.

Good things come to those who wait, or so they say. :p

How many UPCs will this require and how old can the toys be? I haven't collect any new Star Wars figures since the Day 1 issue clone wars. I mean I have picked up a few here and there.

I know but it really sucks, outside of Vader he was the only one I was looking forward to out of this whole collection, why they pulled the plug on him at all is beyond me but it does piss me off.

Not sure just yet, but I am guessing 6 UPC's will be required and can be from any Clone Wars, Saga Legends or Vintage figure. As for how old the figures can be, that too remains to be announced.

Hasbro has just announced their next Fan's Choice Poll

From Hasbro:

Hasbro is pleased to once again invite you to help determine its next STAR WARS Fans’ Choice figure!

We will be polling our readers to again compile a top 10 list for submission on Wednesday, Sept 28, 2011. All polling result lists will be combined together (each outlet getting an equal voice) with the #1 character on each list worth 10 points, the #2 character worth 9 points, the #3 worth 8 points, etc. The resultant point values will be used to generate the final ballot of 20 choices, which will be announced in October by STAR WARS Insider.

Fans will then be able to vote on STAR WARS Insider’s site for their favorite character out of the Top 20, and the character with the most votes as of November 31 will be the new STAR WARS Fans’ Choice figure! The winning character will be announced at Hasbro’s 2012 Collector-Fan Media Day event at Toy Fair in New York in February 2012.

Please note: any characters selected from the current STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS animated series would be done in a realistic style.

So, who do you want? Talon Karrde? Canderous Ordo? Derrick LaRone? Cast your vote today! More news at it develops! Thanks to Yakface.com for passing this news our way!

Do Boy 09-01-2011 02:12 PM

Nice.. hmmmmm hard to say who I would want. A Darth Talon, Darth Raven and a Savage Opress in a realistic style would really be my only choice. I wish they would hurry and do another Fan's Choice MU already.

D00MTR0N 09-01-2011 03:06 PM

redo revan and fix the mask,or a darth malgus.
