Ah! Now that makes more sense. Still not enough to justify an actual retail toy line, as it expects people to connect the dots on some long forgotten fiction. How widespread is that knowledge among collectors of either franchise, I wonder?

Don't get me wrong, I think it was pretty dumb to mix lines like this too, but each two pack comes with a comic book that goes over why the two characters are packaged together.

..I think the biggest problem with the two packs is the choice of characters. A lot of the two packs came with figures that most collectors would already have (or 50% of the two pack--Superman, HeMan, Hal Jordan, Skeletor, etc,.. all very common to collectors).

Gonna go with the INSANE price for a couple of repaints that garnered no interest in these.

Im not surprised. I mean it sucks whenever anything is cancelled but these just never moved. I may still pick up she-ra vs supergirl (never got supergirl) and skelator vs luthor (also missed out on luthor)

Meh, insanely hard to find and house buying expensive, maybe it's better this way
