welcome back legends

Nexodusrex 07-21-2011 10:28 AM

so already they are reusing the exact same character mold with just a repaint. The Ironman is also coming out in the 6inch Ironman figures. exact same figure, different paintjob.

trebleshot 07-21-2011 11:36 AM

Already have a thread about the new ML pics from SDCC 2011. Merged.

Redlantern161 07-21-2011 12:54 PM

I'm happy with this since they all get more modernized figures. I was hoping for a Bleeding Edge Variant to the Extremis Iron Man & a Bucky Cap so we would have some more figures but I'm still happy to see the Legends make a return.

mrmr 07-21-2011 02:51 PM

If they make a ML Legion (in 90's LegionQuest look) I will crap myself forever in sheer joy.

Hell, if they make a Legion figure period.

Snowflakian 07-21-2011 03:23 PM

That ghost rider I want, the rest I can pass on. Hope is tempting. As is commander rogers, but I'm a strictly joescale figure collector now mostly.

thechris 07-21-2011 03:24 PM

Neat!!!... Still not buying any of these, though. :p

Jason Abbadon 07-21-2011 03:25 PM

These are definitely prototypes- check Terrax- his hands are closed and his axe is being held up with a band.
maybe this means we'll get a metallic paint app on Iron Man, instead of the dull yellow on this prototype!

The post-Armor Wars IM red and gold is also a painted prototype- they painted the stomach armor yellow instead of red.

Still- very psyched they're continuing the big IM line- we NEED a Silver Centurain and a giant Firepower!

Shin Densetsu 07-21-2011 04:57 PM

Wonder how Marvel Legends will do this time around. It will be interesting to see which comes out best in the toy aisles, new Marvel Legends VS DCUC.

By modern Nightcrawler you mean his corpse?

brittap 07-21-2011 07:05 PM

When the list was leaked a day or two ago I was pissed when it said "Movie Ghost Rider" and "Hope" thinking there was two figures I didn't want but would have to for the BAF pieces. Now that I see it's the Danny GH I can't wait for this wave.

FadeToBlackBolt 07-21-2011 08:33 PM

Ugh, that's so disappointing. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw "2011-12 ML Wave 1", and then to see this cast; darn shame.

Ghost Rider and Thor are the only ones there that interest me, since I can't stand Steve's face sculpt.

If these get released in Australia at retail though (unlikely), I'll grab them all. I'd love to recreate Terrax vs the Sentry. Muahaha.

Aw man say it ain't so! I can't keep up with comics fast enough. What happened and for how long is he dead for? I guess I ment a new costume like he's seen in more recently.

I'll be interested to see what price point they go with. The good news is that most of the characters here are established and highly regarded among fans, meaning (hopefully) fewer pegwarmers. And hopefully none of them are shortpacked....

The Unit 08-01-2011 05:16 AM

Definitely want the Klaw, IM and Constrictor, but the news that got me most excited wasthe ML WRECKING CREW! Since I was 6 those were my favorite supervillains, it took them long enough to do a set
