The thing with the sentinel is that he is in some terms an army builder. That may be an aspect for ppl to grab more than one.

Mine won't even get it, like Galactus. Oh well.

omega145 07-28-2011 12:01 PM

ALOPEZ527 07-28-2011 12:11 PM

You can buy them at toys r us website

Do Boy 07-28-2011 12:15 PM

This one is definitely an army builder.

AndyCR75 07-28-2011 12:20 PM

time out. wasn't everyone freaking that there wouldn't be any SDCC's available?

'nuff said- S.L.

MegsTriggerMan 07-28-2011 12:21 PM

While I do like the design ... im perfectly happy to keep using my 2 ML Sentinels ... if the hit clearance then perhaps ill grab one for a Master Mold custom or something to that effect.

Do they still have the Dark Galactus at the TRUs or is it all regulars now?

I was wondering if they didn't ship to Canada or something. TRU.com drops their "free shipping when you spend X" to $50 a handful of times every year which makes it no different than driving to TRU and buying one in person.

Regular. The dark version is one I've never seen in stores (although I didn't look hard because I wanted the brighter colored version).. only at Entertainment Earth and BBTS.

SDCC Sentinel was sold out by the end of Friday at the show.

omega145 07-28-2011 01:02 PM

I've never seen the Dark Galactus either. Only online or at comic shops.
IMO the normal comic colored version looks way better anyway.

I think the dark Galactus was an online exclusive.

Rexplode 07-28-2011 02:02 PM

This is exciting news!
While I'm not chomping at the bit to get my hands on another Sentinel it means that some of the other exclusives may be on their way too.

to the OP: did you see any of the other exclusives in stock?

He certainly was!

As a proud owner of Dark and Comic Version Galactus, I think Dark looks way better in real life. Lol. But that's just me!

Symbiote 07-28-2011 02:46 PM

Thanks for the heads up guys. My haul for today at TRU. My roommate picked up one too.

I have to agree with you. I opened the classic colors version, but the dark color scheme really suits Galactus well.

soundwave85 07-28-2011 03:38 PM

I want one of these so bad.

I dont see the Sentinels moving that fast at 50 bucks each and as I mentioned before, the price on this as opposed to 8 dollar aim soldiers or gi joe figures limits the amount of people that will have multiple sentinels.

, but this Sentinel will never be a challenge for anyone to find.

Again. I expect them to sell "slightly better" than Galactus. They will not be tough to find; agreed. You can't have just one...unless your broke; majority; but most collectors or people who display their figures, broke or not, would love more than 1 sentinel (I challenge someone to dispute this if they're an X-Men fan). They definitely wont love paying for more than one.

I bought one Galactus. He's Galactus. There is only 1. Never, not once, considered buying another. I will at some point buy another Sentinel. They're just too damn cool and there's soo much display potential and they were always cooler in numbers in the comics and cartoons, but that's just me (or maybe others feel the same).

Like it or not, this is MU's most expensive Army Builder (3 sentinels = army for me and since I also own the BAF version, I only need 1 more sentinel!)

Bottom line, if you have the money and are an X-Men fan and want the ultimate way to display your figures, you will buy at least two of these. Maybe not both at once. But somewhere down the line after that first one, you'll buy another. ;)

Jason Abbadon 07-28-2011 05:35 PM

Does that shoulder armor come off? I think that's the one thing that bugs me about the Sentinel.
