Personally, I blame the buyer.. But that's a whole other discussion I'm not gonna get into lol

Jason Abbadon 08-12-2011 12:38 AM

I scored at target the other day- found the "Hot Zone" armor (I think tha's it) it's white and red and has an awesome backpack thingie with big fold up wings- looks very anime.
I was thinking of painting the white gold but I'm kinda digging the red and white look.
I also scored two Hammer drones! I've never seen them in stores before- a ground and an air drone!
They also ahd that "Stark arcing armor" but that's just a jive repaint.
No Mandarin or masked Whiplash though- they had the unmasked version if anyone needs that.

Obviously, if I see a Mandarin, I'll grab it for a fellow Arker- I bought mine from that chinese dude on ebay and it's a thing of beauty once you paint some gems on his rings -use a toothpick and red, green and blue paint- just a dot on each ring really makes the figure outstanding!

TTT 08-13-2011 10:31 AM

Ah, OK, so they are out there.....think I'm just gonna keep Mandarin to repaint.
Ultimate IM, Comic Whiplash & WarMachine/exposed face are up for grabs !

Boba Fettuccini 08-13-2011 10:45 AM

I've never seen that war machine. Are there pictures?

I might be up for the war machine and comic whiplash...

redx24 08-13-2011 10:49 AM

want the ultimate armor from this wave hen im done with iron man toys

bmorr 08-13-2011 02:54 PM

my local target RESTOCKED on Iron Man 2 toys. in 2011...
of course its the lame repaint concept wave that i dont give crap about. 8 dollars a figure? Forget that noise, even though they did have the drones.

They're both bad. The scalper and the guy who has no concept of money. He usually has a pretty decent income and an aggressive attitude. He's the guy who wins Mandarin at $57.32 when someone else has a Buy It Now going for $40 because he wanted to teach the other aggressive idiot "a lesson".

Lots of those at Wizard World comic con today!
Didn't really look for the Mandarin wave because most of what I saw was way overpriced!

I know, I watch it happen often. LOL.

Autobot_Goldbug 09-07-2011 08:22 PM

I have an extra Ultimate Iron Man & comic Whiplash.
I could use a Sif or Heimdall from the Thor movie line.

Blood 09-07-2011 08:42 PM

Mexico is a lost cause so I ended up using BBTS

I have a Sif... but I don't really need comic whiplash or ultimate. :( You don't happen to have an extra modern war machine, do you?

I'll see if I can find one tomorrow.
I might be able to trade for one. Then send it to you.

Mandarin is probably the most expensive figure I've ever picked up from the MU scale figures. A seller on eBay listed it with a low reserve and one night I drunkenly entered a $50 bid and won. I woke up the next day with no recollection of bidding on it and reluctantly paid the price. It is a cool figure though, and in that seller's defense, it was shipped in a nice plastic case.

thechris 09-07-2011 11:04 PM

Modern War Machine, is that the dorky headswap one with the ridiculously long neck and Don Cheadle looking head?

I want Modern WM... and don't hate on me guys, but I love the Stark Racing Armor. If I ever see one in the wild, IT'S MINE.

I damn near did the same thing, then my roommmate found that chinese seller listing Mandarin loose with no sword or helmet (like I care) for $12 and it arrived in a week.
Love that guy- anyone know his ebay handle? I'd do business with him again in a heartbeat (espically if he had loose AIM or Hydra goons!)

miketime 09-15-2011 06:40 AM

IDK if anyone noticed but they didn't even bother to paint the lower torso of that comic version Whiplash. What's up with that? BTW thanks for the pics vamp.

flipwilson 09-15-2011 11:21 AM

I'd do vile, terrible things for Ultimate Ironman, Whiplash, and War Machine.
