yeah I also have the "variant wall" in package, but those I don't think are as big of a deal as comic con stuff.

This wont even be worth that much for those that are keeping them MOC for value purposes. The sheer size would kill shipping costs and youd probably make as much money just shipping it loose. Right now they arent even going for that much on eBay.

I'll add something else. If your a loose collector and really like this Sentinel then bust it out of its package. If your a MOC collector or your just not that crazy about it but enjoy the packaging and box then keep it sealed. That's why I choose yes on the poll and that's what im most likely going to do.

I was going to open mine, but once I saw how great it looked on card I couldn't bring myself to open it.

First of all, I hope your dad is doing all right.
Second of all, if I did have one of each of them I'd still open it because I'd love having a two different sentinels (yeah it's just the color, but still) fighting. I only have one of the SHS Sentinels and I'd love to have found the other one at a price I was willing to pay.
Last of all, regardless of what the poll turns out to be, these aren't ours. They are yours. Feel free to listen to people's advice but don't let them sway you in a direction you might regret later. Remember, you can always open it later, but you can never undo having opened it.

I only have 2 MOC figures out of my entire collection, but if I had that carded Sentinel, I'd keep it in the package. I've yet to own any Sentinel, had to pass them up when I saw 2 at TRU, 'cause I was broke. :(
