Yeah, I'm pretty sure they must have two kinds of varnishes available because like I said, I have two different SHIELD Agents. With most figures, it seems that they are either coated with matte varnish (TRU 3 Pack Iceman), glossy varnish (Ragnarok android's arms) or no varnish (bare plastic like on the unpainted surface of Jim Lee Scott Summers' hands and feet) :)

Had never seen the "variants" before. Just knew they existed. I also believe this to be a mistake rather than variant, hence me never going out of my way to pick them up! :P
