Why would you need the variant set to do that? If you are customizing them why not just use the regular ones?

White is easier to paint over :P. But yea, legit question. I hate how they all look like teenagers, but the thing with the 4 on his chest is EPIC.

Yeh chances are the white version will costs us more, so definatley just buy a regular set to do this and use the saved $$ for better white primer :) kyrlon plastic spraypaint works awesome, as long as you have a decent ventalated area. I would be happy with either set, but if you're the completist you need both, 1 to make a regular F4 display with flame on or regular johnny and the future wave with the single carded spidey that will be coming out, I hope they make a vehicle for them!

Negative, he sticks around because he was promised a spot IF he helped Val with...I can't remember. Doom is never good, he can act good just to get what he wants at the end. Right now, they have to kill Reed Richards from different universes. If I was Doom, I would for sure stick around and kill as many RR's as possible.

Damn,.. you guys are going to get me to actually read comics one of these days. If I was Doom I'd just whack Reed and figure some way to defeat Ben (isn't Doom also a genius?), then make Sue my slave.

Doom is on the team because he made a deal with Valerie that if she helped him restore his mind, he'd help her family defeat the evil Reeds. Doom is a man of his word, evil or not (and he also made a promise to always make sure no harm came her way).

I plan to repaint the extra doom I bought white too.

I bought an extra FF box set just so I could switch out one Reed's head for one of the older Johny Storms so that I could have the full team in that FF uniform, since no version of the FF released had the whole team in the exact same uniforms.
