I mean by this change the lines name (Marvel Universe Expanded universe or what ever) different box and same scarlet spider.

Oh, like repackaging the 1998 Dark Trooper in 2009 and thinking no one would notice it has no articulation?

quinten182 09-07-2011 07:20 AM

Mask-off Toby Maguire Spidey. No thanks.

Jason Abbadon 09-07-2011 07:38 AM

Personally, I'd LOVE a Beak! Beak, the single stupidest thing Morrison ever did, was made into the most awesome character by Tony Bedard in Exiles!

The TV that walks like a man...!

That is a pretty great choice for "I hope not!"

I'll go on record for never EVER wanting any of Lifield's more crappy X-Force introductions like Shatterstar, Killspree, Feral, Reaper, etc.

bmorr 09-07-2011 12:09 PM

they've already done 3 pet avengers

I could probably live without John Jameson as Man-Wolf/Stargod and The Mad Thinker

i know about lockheed, whats the other two?

Blood 09-07-2011 12:24 PM

I think an aunt May would be a bad choice

bmorr 09-07-2011 12:27 PM

stryker, general ross, obadiah stane, and bolivar trask. I wouldnt buy them cause itd just look like a bunch of old white dudes looking angry at me on my display shelf.

Boba Fettuccini 09-07-2011 12:29 PM

I'd buy them. I like normal uncostumed people. Especially if they did a Justin Hammer.

Right around when Quesada (Or maybe it was Bill Jemas? They're both piss poor EiCs, and both responcible for the trainwreck that became Marvel)decided X-Men comics were too popular and needed to be wrecked (When he put Morrison on X-Men), he crashed a *lot* of related teams. He cancelled Generation X with the reasoning "We don't need it. We have Ultimate X-Men now."
He also gave X-Force over to a new writer who terminated the series, disbanded the team, (No big loss for the Liefeld characters like Shatterstar and Feral. But sucked ass for the New Mutant characters), and relaunched the title as X-Statix. Now a comedy team of superstar celebrity mutants.
Not comedy as in silly (Like GLA), Character based comedy (Like JLI), or comedy as in satirizing the superhero genre. It was the "Ironic" type of comedy that's not really funny to anyone. Instead of Cannonball and Warpath, we now had U-Go-Gurl (Get it? It's a play on a popular saying, GET IT? It's ironic, so IT'S FUNNY! EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT ACTUALLY IRONIC AT ALL!), Deadgirl (She's dead! Get it? It"S FUNNY!") and worst of all... Doop.

Boy howdy did Nexodusrex nail that one! I typically never say I don't want something to be made because there's always someone else who's day will be made by it. But gods, I hated that group so badly I actually erased them from my memory! They should never be made. And they should never be acknowledged in fiction again, unless it's to kill them.

She'd be awesome! I uld make both "Zombie Aunt May" and Golden Oldie (when she became the Herald Of Galactus!)!

That... is epic!

That is symbolic to me of when Marvel was fun!

Boba Fettuccini 09-07-2011 05:14 PM

Marvel is still fun.. in places. For instance, the Deadpool story line where he decides to be a pirate.

Hey, there we go... Pirate Wade Wilson. But then, I'd WANT that...

Aheld92 09-07-2011 07:38 PM

Just no more concept figures of any kind, Make them Cannon, alternate reality or a couple figures i wouldn't mind movie versions of

Boba Fettuccini 09-07-2011 07:51 PM

What, you don't want a movie-style Hawkeye with bright orange armor and clip on missile-launching crossbows and a space helmet?

Colder Soldier 09-08-2011 01:42 AM

I was having a hard time thinking of some until Nexodusrex chimed in. Please, no Xstatics, or any costume designed by Frank Quietly.

And of course whenever this kind of thread comes up, we get some awful suggestions. No Shatterstar, Feral, Disco Dazzler, or "Ron Lim" Sue Storm??? Really? And we better get an Arnim Zola.

And oh, no Stan Lee.

Unless he is a zombie like he looks in real life. Then I might buy it.
