If anything, movie masters are closer to 5" rather than 6". So it's definitely not DCUC scale.

Fortune 10-08-2011 01:28 AM

Yeah I am not a fan of movie masters do to their small size.

felks22us 10-08-2011 06:07 AM

Ive seen them both but not so happy how they came out . DC superhero came out krony and bad articulation and the movie master one is not the right size , like M3T4L V1KING said it best ...

Fortune 10-08-2011 09:04 AM

I just think we could see another scarecrow at some point in the batman Legacy line.

Yeah we should, and it should be the Sinestro Corps Scarecrow sculpt. They had one for DC Superheroes (as everyone knows by know) but the head and all that were WAY to skinny for my tastes. It was probably my least favourite representation of Scarecrow.

I have thus far veen a huge fan of the Batman Legacy line and have yet to see a figure I didnt want from it (minus the two packs) but if they released a scarecrow using the sinestro corps mold I would be in LOVE with them. (With a new hand of course)

felks22us 10-08-2011 04:12 PM

Yeah that would be nice to see new update scarecrow , on a side note I wish they would of never did Mr. Freeze in that color . what where they thinking lol he is such a peg warmer at the store near me know ....

Yeah no kidding. I think every figure so far has been a buyer (Wave 1 Batman is debatable) but Mr. Freeze was a massive pass for me... serious, those colours. Worst thing I've seen.

I am thinking about get it because of only 3 characters..

I wasn't really interested in this wave at all. I picked up Sinestro Corps Scarecrow at a comic book shop about 3 months ago because I'm a big Batman fan and like the comments on this thread I really like the head sculpt as opposed to the DCSH Scarecrow that came out a few years back. That was going to be the only one I was going to get. Now wave # 17 has been popping in abundance at my local Target stores and I got decent look at them so what happens - I pick up almost all of the rest of them.

I wasn't a fan of the color scheme on Mr. Freeze either but I thought it's the Super Powers deco I mine as well get it fit in with rest of DCUC Super Powers updates that Mattel released.

Wave 1 batman is a great custom piece imo

thechris 10-08-2011 08:37 PM

Really? I liked that Scarecrow. It looks a lot like the Batman Animated Series Scarecrow in his first appearance. I always pictured him as a skinny guy in a Wizard of Oz inspired costume with fear gas. Worst part about the toy was the weird pitchfork weapon that he comes with.

DogFashionDisco 10-08-2011 08:54 PM

Any Batman DCUC figure is worth picking up, assuming they aren't overpriced.

His head is just to darn small. Almost inhuman

Agreed. I mean it was just such a bad decision. I wonder how a head swap would look :/

thechris 10-09-2011 11:27 AM

Oh yeah, he's definitely a little animated looking. That's kind of why I like him (Though yes, the head could definitely be a bit bigger). He's the closest to a classic Scarecrow I can get and I'd rather have him than nothing at this point. I don't hate him enough to not have him in my collection. I see Scarecrow, Madhatter, Dr. Sivana, Hugo Strange and Professor Milo, Croc, even the Penguin, as particularly cartoony looking characters. In nearly every incarnation of the Scarecrow in action figure form, they've created a completely unique buck for his figure that is stick thin (I admit, exaggeratedly so but not unlike most of his appearances in the comics). That's why he's one of my favourites to get, he's nearly always unique to the other figures. The Sinestro Corps version is probably the first version of Scarecrow I've ever seen with defined muscles (at least in the abs), which I'm willing to accept since they're forced into a harsh conditioning program with Arkillo after acceptance into the Corps. We might see a new Scarecrow figure, but I doubt it'll sport his classic anorexic body, but I'm good with either.

Fortune 10-09-2011 11:35 AM

I do agree its prett cool how almost no two scarecrow figures look alike.

This is one thing I like about DC Direct (Even though I don't collect them), they seem to put out a lot of different body types and styles, unfortunately the articulation stinks. :)

Yeah but then again I never took Scarecrow as needing a ton of poses.

He's fine. It's more the Kingdom Come Alan Scott and those like him that I'm not that impressed with.

Yeah true. I actually have two of those. One of the first releases MIB and also the rerelease opened. My DCUC Alan Scott is actually posed on my shelf with his sword.

ToyAddict 10-20-2011 04:35 AM

Well, if there's anyone still on the fence about adding wave 17 for your collection, I offer this find. . .KMart.com has their DCUC's on sale this week for $10.39 each, plus free shipping for orders over $50. All of wave 17 is in there (for some reason I had to hunt for blue lantern Flash, but he's there). So you can get a complete set of 7 for around $75, shipped. Not a bad deal!

It's taking every ounce of will I have to resist. I don't want to get sucked into collecting the rainbow deputies. . .I'm an addict (my name says so) . . .once I start I won't stop. . .would have to get the Color of Fear set and the ugly red and yellow lanterns from GLC and SC Batman. . .

iLegends73 10-20-2011 05:03 AM

all i want is scarecrow. i just saw this wave in target yesterday and he was the only one missing. ppl on here have said thats its bad ordering stuff from kmart.com cause they dont send u what u ordered but they go buy the UPC code. so if u ordered flash u might end up with wonderwoman

SwindlesShop 10-21-2011 03:47 PM

Meh I broke down and bought the whole wave for antimonitor. I sold everyone but scarecrow, WW and BL Hal to my friends :P
