I think they look great so far. There could always be room for improvement but I will still be getting the 3.75" figures.
Black Widow looks better than the one that would have come in the Iron Man 2 line but never did.

topnotch97 10-12-2011 08:01 PM

yey!!! a Johnny Cage looking Hawkeye!!!! :D

so where did they base off that Scar Jo head sculpt? from her infamous cellphone pics? *wink*wink*

Lody666 10-12-2011 08:01 PM

YAY

Even MORE CA and IM figures to clog the shelves

Yay

Saint Phe 10-12-2011 08:14 PM

Maybe these aren't final. I hope. Hawkeye's proportions are all wonky.

LXL_Guy 10-12-2011 09:01 PM

Just took a quick look and all of these look so underwhelming. I'm not sold on any of them. They just are not that impressive looking. If I had to say which was the best it'd be Loki by a long shot. Otherwise, I'm glad to see my money will be safe and going towards other figures at that time.

Snowflakian 10-12-2011 10:13 PM

I'm sold on the 4 inch. Looks like they added ankle joints to cap and others, as well as thigh swivels. Definite pluses! Count me in for the entire movie team and Loki, cept for Thor. Even the new Ironman has grown on me.

I'm still curious about the circle unibeam on ironman though especially after the trailer focused so heavily on the triangle unibeam armor. I guess this suggests we will get 2 different armors in the movie for some story-centric based reason.

The Cap is a 6-inch, man. :(

That said... I'll pick up the Avengers I need to complete a movie team, but I will be pissed as heck if that's all the articulation we get. STEP IT UP HASBRO.

TheSymbiote 10-13-2011 12:17 AM

To us these dont look like the final product..........more like a work in progress. so we wont judge them until they look better

warmachine6 10-13-2011 12:41 AM

these look awsome for me finally a 6 inch loki ! i'll be getting that captain america and hawkeye all i need now is hulk

stjuggernaut 10-13-2011 02:33 AM

These figures are all great! yeh i agree the proportions are a little off, especially on hawkeye, but they are still good figures.

the 6 inch cap is very nice... but that loki is phenomental. removable helmet too! fantastic!! i wonder if they will show us any more, like thor or even agent coulson!

omega145 10-13-2011 03:58 AM

The hawkeye and black widow looks like they have oversized heads similar to the option of choosing a larger head for the make your own action figure website. Easy pass if they are produced just like that.

Let us pray you're right. I loooove Cap's new movie costume so I'd hate to get him and find out he can't be posed worth beans...

jschambe 10-13-2011 04:46 AM

I just hope they do a comic series for the Avengers movies like they have with Iron Man and Captain America

warmachine6 10-13-2011 05:26 AM

i reckon their will be a comic series for these figures , they look really nice , need to start saving up for this because the avengers movie is going to be huge so hasbro is sure to make a comic series im hoping for a comic series giantman at least havent seen one yet but its going to be an epic year to get these awsome figures

Optimus Vader 10-13-2011 05:59 AM

Post more pictures of the chick sitting on the couch behind what looks to be a Legends Hawkeye.

^^THIS is the Black Widow I want a toy of.

metalalchemist 10-13-2011 07:31 AM

Lol, the 3.75" ones look like small sized plastic Megos.
6" ones look good, but definitely not for me (I´m more into comic style ones)

The DMC 10-13-2011 07:42 AM

The 6 inch figures look awesome! Finally, Hasbro is doing something right!

Morzilla 10-13-2011 08:14 AM

These are not final figures, you can tell by the glue that's oozing out of Capt's right elbow..I will hold out until there are more pics/news regarding these figures.

Not getting the 3.75" line, rather go for the 6". That said we need to cross our fingers that there are no TGT, WALLY, TrU exclusives, that annoys the toys out of me! if so they should be 3.75" and not the 6".

Boba Fettuccini, not sold on the look of Capt's new gear, between that and the one from "First Avenger", I rather he wears the one from "First Avenger". This gives him a more comic series look than the rest of the team (with the exception of IM) and so he looks off aesthetically, albeit this is his costume but there is room for improvement.

Black widow is 4inch though, and she has thigh swivel and ankle articulation. As does the ironman. Hawkeye looks like he's missing the thigh swivel though.

You can tell the difference between the 6'' by the double jointed elbows and bicep swivel. The 4 inch look like they only have elbow swivels and no double jointed elbows.

Do Boy 10-13-2011 09:54 AM

yeah I think these are still just prototypes. I hope hasbro won't release something as ugly as these.

err lets think ourselves lucky its not mattel making these figures. can you imagine the backlash there would be from fans if they gave us green lantern 3.75 inch movie figure quality / articulation on these.

mattel litterally took the piss out of us with those... i still have a few though. LOL

hasbro are doing a good job overall... black widow should be prettier though (on the figure i mean)

pud333 10-13-2011 10:19 AM

These look terrible. Only further justifies me quitting MU. Just horrific.

Optimus Vader 10-13-2011 10:21 AM

..but those are movie toys, not technically MU figures.

fosterlager 10-13-2011 10:46 AM

Has MU ever had movie toys on their cards? I thought they couldn't do that because of shared likeness rights with the studio. At least they'd have to resculpt the head.
