its up now. put it into my cart, and had a moment of clarity. realizing i didnt really need it or care about the character and put it back.

I can't justify the shipping costs. I don't care that much for the figure.

I would say if you were getting something else. But to get 4 of the same figure because of shipping still seems odd. lol Unless you plan on selling them on ebay

I agree, I nabbed transformers and 2 hulks just to make the shipping cost worthwhile, but I also know they will all go to someone one way or the other. I could have grabbed a few more hulks for ebay, but that's lame..

Now that they are sold out, interest in this figure will likely shoot up 1000 fold :)

I hope not, I hope it's just released as a regular figure so that everyone can enjoy it.

I understand that sometimes takes the collectiblity away, but I'd rather all the fans have all the figures they want than have some that are worth $60+

Well, they havent' released Nick Fury or X-Force Archangel yet, so I'm not holding my breath.

But they did announce a classic colors Sentinel. They are kinda releasing a Ages of Thunder Thor. But honestly I prefer exclusives stay exclusive. Gives you that little extra something to say wow at.

While I agree with that, they also need to not be major characters. Nick Fury is a figure a lot of people wanted. Archangel in his X-force costume is currently a fairly major part of the character's history. The classic colors Sentinel is one a lot of people grew up with.

I like that the current exclusives are the Compound Hulk (silly, interesting, but not going to leave a hole in your collection) and Dr. Doom with no mask or scars (Most people don't care for an unmasked Doom). They're nice if you like them, but you're not going to be forced to pay Ebay prices or purchase a $60 subscription you might not want just to fill out a team.

Only reason I don't want the exclusives to hit retail is because I paid dumb amounts for each of them.. being the completionist i am.. and that would make me tear up!

I wouldn't mind seeing a green/gray "compound" hulk.

As for Compound Hulk, had they made him using the new Hulk mold he would've been a must buy for me. Now that he's not available anymore he's STILL not very interesting to me.
