I know it feels like a derp question, but this definitely makes me second guess buying stuff online. Plus I felt that I wouldn't get the figure, but i ended up getting it after agonizing over it lol

I'm quite fussy about paint apps on figures, I'll always search the pegs until I find one that's just right. With some figures though like the new Bespin Han Solo where bad hair paint is the norm I try to fix the problem myself with model paint.

I used to not care what the figure looked like, I am no stranger to paints so I tend to fix them my self. With 2 kids now daddy time is taking up my fixing/ customizing time. I have probably picked up close to $400 worth of marvel movie and universe figures in the last month. The western Chicago burbs must be getting the 5000th figures to pass through that one painter in sector 7 G. Stuff is just getting sloppy.

Same here, though I'm more concerned about the head than the rest of the toy (unless the flaw compromises its functionality).

Yup, the head is first and foremost. Then I move onto checking for stress marks, breaks, scratches etc. Then onto paint, I know I get more then a couple looks but, I don't care.

Exactly this.
