Couldn't agree more. That's why these threads ARE necessary. When it comes to the forums, the only thing that annoys me is having multiple threads about the same topic. But this here, is it's own topic. It's a nice little topic to bring to the ToyArk community and for us to discuss. As long as there isn't already a gagillion threads about one topic, and it's actually relevant to figures (except for general discussion of course), I think almost ALL topics need there own thread.

I think people need to do a little research on their own most of the time. Do a little searching on different forums and also eBay and you'd find all of those on the list for 10 shipped and under.
Listening to folks around here sometimes can not be that good. Look at everyone that justifies paying x amount of dollars for shocker when he isn't even that good of a figure or heimdall, sif and the warriors three.

Gotta say i only use LCS or ebay as an absolute LAST resort, you can usually find someone who will hook you up with what you want for a decent price on here or HISStank. You just need to browse the B/S/T's and make some contacts.....

well, the only toyshop that actually brings interesting figures (mandarin for example) charges around 25 - 30 bucks for a single card so those prices aren't that bad

To kind of play devil's advocate here, you really do want to keep up your LCS as much as you can. In the age of digital comics, ebay and amazon.com, these places are struggling for the most part. I live in a pretty large city - we have 2 comic stores (but lost one due to poor sales) and fortunately Savannah College of Art and Design students really keep one of them open all by themselves.

Now I have NO RESPECT for stores that go around and buy all the stock from WM and Target and TRU to fill the pegs at 2X the price for their stores. But I look at my store that has an incredible selection of Marvel Select figures for $25, were selling TF Grapple for $25, and generally has BBTS type prices on most toys and I would rather pay a little more for a figure from them than go to ebay.

I'd rather have Thunderbird than Warpath.

the beauty of that Thunderbird is that you can also have classic X-force warpath too :)

Holy mother of jesus. These can be had for $4.99 at many of my local Winners/Marshalls. Even peg warming at some locations.

Exactly, I don't know why people do not take the time to browse the forums.

I joined the forum for I don't have to pay butt rape prices. Also joined to trade/sell to other arkers that don't want to pay butt rape prices.

Sometimes people just want something to discuss. Sure you could easily look up the answers for your questions, but discussing it is far more thorough and actually entertaining.
