wrong,that was his original scar left from the accindent,then he went to the monestary and had the armor made and being impatient rushed to don his mask before it cooled and thus was scarred completely,yeah,I am aware of ALL things Doom ;)

though I do note there is a slight inconsistancy in the kirby art and Dooms origins because if we are going by marvel canon the mask was not yet created because it can not exsist without his burned visage,though I feel it was just to show how little his original wound was and what he ended up making it was 1000 times worse.

Sue's is Reed's ultimate status symbol- with her he can say:
"I am the smartest man on earth, I have the hottest wife, I own my own building and I have the biggest dick."

That's how Reed can stay so calm in tough situations- he just repeats that in his head over and over and over...

We all love Doom, but his jealosy of Richards is pretty well deserved.

I bet Reed can do some distrubing lasso tricks in the bedroom...

the scars help motivate him.

His inferiority to Reed is what motivates him, the scars are just the icing on the cake.

He IS below Reed, he is JEALOUS of Reed, of everything that Reed has. God knows I love Doom, but Reed > Doom.

yes but that is an alternate type universe deal,that is not as we all know the true Doom,his scars are just proof he does not need to hide behind the false reality that looks give you,he can endure,burned or not,Doom prevails.

not jealous more then angered that reed had to step to him when he was trying to save his mom back in their school days,in his mind reed is the reason it all went to shit,outside of that there is nothing reed has that Doom does not have outside of sue(yet another weakness of reeds that Doom does not share,Victor does not need to hide behind side kicks and "help" to acconplish his goals,he only needs himself)im sorry people,Doom is the better man.
