man this figure is epic but it costs like $500 with shipping, f-that. The 1 I was talking about was the same scale but a fraction of the price he was $50 when I seen him at winners years ago and kicking myself I never got him as he goes for $1-300 on ebay.

here's 1 on ebay currently for sale:

2007 Marvel Ultimate 12" Ghost Rider w 17" Flame Motor Cycle Hasbro MIB | eBay

^That's the one I already posted in the thread.

After how bad the last movie's toyline stunk, I'm not optimistic about any figures coming out for the new movie... Like it's been mentioned elsewhere, we may or may not get any MU-centric figures, but nothing like what Thor or Captain America got.

Snowflakian 11-10-2011 09:31 AM

There might be some Marvel Select things later, but otherwise unless toyfair has a surprise or two, chances are only maybe a comic pack or 2. Maybe a store exclusive MU thing, and maybe a re-release of the TF Crossovers GR bike. Sadly not much unless MU has some GR stuff saved for a wave around the movie like female ghost rider, vengence, etc.

The first movie was all 6'' stuff, but they did have one 4inch GR with bike. I'm kind of hoping it sees a rerelease at least.

I don't remember figures for the first movie.

What exactly "stunk" about the last movie's toyline pray tell? It was in scale with Marvel Legends, the detail was amazing, the articulation was off the charts, the paint was clean and gritty looking(perfect for Ghost Rider stuff) and we got alot of good figures in there. Vengeance, Scarecrow, Blackheart...great villains and every one looked immaculate. I'll admit there may have been one too many GR figures in the line, but come on he's the star so what do you expect? I've heard people complain about this line before, but I don't see as though the complaints have any real foundation. For me the toyline and videogame were the only GOOD things about that movie.

That price is insane! I got mine for $60 loose from my LCS and have seen them on eBay NIB go for 60-80.

It had a full line of figures and a couple waves. In the 5-6'' range.

A lot more than that. There were several zipcord figures, a couple waves, the caretaker, scarecrow, and more.

It didn't exactly stink, but it wasn't a hot seller either. It did well enough for what it was, but it didn't move some product as fast as they'd like. It's probably comparative to about how well Thor is doing which probably won't get a sequel toy line.

Pretty much what Snowflakian said... Over in the UK, the Ghost Rider stuff was clogging up the shelves for a long time. And as much as I like Ghost Rider and the characters, the designs of the toys really didn't appeal to me at all. Perhaps "stunk" was too strong a word there... ^^;
