Really a tough question. My first instinct was Prof X, what with his abilities, but then I'd be in a wheelchair. I did always wanted to be Stark, with his intelligence and wealth, and the IM suit is pretty cool. It would be a good choice in a real world capacity. Superman would be awesome, but I honestly don't know if I can handle the responsibility of it.
Villain wise, for realistic purposes, I think would be someone like Kingpin, or Lex Luthor. But since I am the most fascinated with having extraordinary powers, I would have to go with Magneto. No bank would be safe! And I could fly too and control all of the electro magnetic energy on the planet. That's pretty cool. |
As a hero I would pick Thor.
Pros: His strength, his power, Mjolnir, the ability to go to other planets. Cons: Having an evil step-brother who you would have a hard time fighting against since you still think of him as a brother. As a villain I would pick Magneto. Pros: The ability to control anything metal and therefore stop almost any attacks. Bullets, missiles, grenades, people made out of or that have metal on them. Also the ability to fly and create magnetic shields. Cons: Harder time using the powers when weak. Now that I think of it, a battle between Thor and Magneto would be cool. There likely is one in the comics but I have not read that one yet. |
How in gods green earth did I miss this thread?!
I think I would have to go with Nova. Being able to travel the galaxy is a big thing. I could live without the worldmind and being last of the Nova corp, but you know, beggers can't be choosers! I wouldn't mind being a Green Lantern too! |
Very heavy on Marvel choices so far..... interesting. I'd say Dick Grayson, so Robin/Nightwing. He had to go through a lot as a kid, which I can relate to (I'd say I'm more like Jason Todd though, but things turned out better for Dick), but Bruce took him in and provided the compassion and guidance necessary for him to become a successful hero in his own right. If only life worked out that way for real people.

Any hero? Clearly Iron Man. He's either strong enough to be the solution or he's got the money and/or knowledge to buy/make the solution. Plus, flying. Who hasn't wanted to fly?
Villain would have to be Magneto, no joke. That guy is a champion. |
