Marvel should do a story where the character doesn't die.

Tiberius 11-24-2011 10:14 PM

Or stays dead. Or actually died. Bring back cancer, that can kill people in comics and let them stay dead. NO ONE COMES BACK FROM COMIC BOOK CANCER.

CLASSIFIED 11-24-2011 10:18 PM

The world still needs a Capt. Marvel.

D00MTR0N 11-24-2011 10:34 PM

am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that its #600 and the 50th anniversery of the ff4 and they dont even mention Doom?

Tiberius 11-24-2011 10:59 PM

Yea they do, he is in the first page, I haven't read it yet because I am trying to clean haha. But yea, he is the first person you see.

Kaewin 11-25-2011 04:38 PM

Since it is 600 shouldn't have Mole Man? He was the first.

Of course I wish they would leave people dead. The only hero I can see getting to come back time after time is Vision since he is a machine. Or hell even Machine Man. Others should just stay there or Marvel should have a 10 yr policy. If they go down they stay that way for at least ten years. Of course that stunt with Bucky was a bit lame but intended for a reason.

I stand corrected,I skimmed throught it and he is on one page, though kristoff is doing all the talking as Doom still has that stupid collar on.

afgoosett 11-25-2011 06:55 PM

So far I'm glad he's back. I'll remain glad he's back until they disband the Future Foundation. Well I take that back. I don't care if they disband it as long as they keep their swanky uniforms. I really want Spidey to stay. I'd think them calling themselves the Fantastic Four and using the Future Foundation uniforms with Spidey still holding Johnny's place. While Johnny does the solo thing for a minute. It seems like he won't be the old jokester he was and he'll probably have to deal with things like ptsd considering he pretty much fought a war and was a POW not to mention he died twice and he was resurrected by filthy worms that looked to be eating and vomiting out his insides. I don't think him having to deal with PTSD would be reaching. So it'd be nice to see a different take on Johnny without the team there.

on a lighter note check this out I remember earlier this year we all were talking about the FF three pack and the Ben Grimm the Thing not being comic book accurate. WELL NOW HE BE IS!!!!

dude thank you so much man \M/

Tiberius 11-25-2011 10:17 PM

So after reading #600, I highly enjoyed it! I'm not a fan of "the sewing worms" but meh. I know in the last moments of Jonny Storm, we don't see him actually die, which they pretty much did what I expected them to do [although I was expecting a badass Sentry beard and long hair kind of deal on him and whatnot] but I really liked it.

Yes! that was my bet- that Lyja (still in the Negative Zone) would have saved him and they were ledaing a band of rebels or somehing...
I knew Johnny would return as soon as FF's sales tanked!

Tiberius 11-26-2011 06:24 PM

I REALLY enjoyed FF though! Like I don't have a LCS and I am not driving 45 minutes north or south for a comic, but if I did have a LCS FF would of been one of the series I bought.

Jason Abbadon 11-27-2011 01:05 AM

How long will they keep Doom as a little bitch?
First, he looks like crap in white, second, he looks...impotent...without his hood up- moreso with that dog collar on.

The only reason I'm reading this title is to hopefully) see doom kill that Reed and make a rug out of him.
And because my roommamte actually buys the issues and i just read 'em for free.

Tiberius 11-27-2011 01:08 AM

Still love the FF and hope they continue it and have crossovers with F4. This is all building up to HOUSE OF DOOM, I swear to God it has to happen!

*dreams*

Jason Abbadon 11-27-2011 01:24 AM

Well...if you wnated a House of Doom sorta thing, check out the Emperor Doom graphic novel.
Doom uses the Purple Man to make every person on earth loyal to Doom- not in a zombie kinda way, but just to change their minds about Doom as a leader.

Everyone except Wonder Man (he's on the run from his fellow Avengers) decided that Doom is the Man and elects him world leader...and Doom hates it.

Tiberius 11-27-2011 01:26 AM

THAT SOUNDS EPIC. Wonder Man is one of my favorites and under appreciated I think.

Jason Abbadon 11-27-2011 08:13 AM

It's a great read- Wonder Man is on the lam at first, plotting Doom's downfall...but then he sees that Doom has stopped all war and is making the world a better place...so does he stay in the shadows, leaving the world...well "not free" but also not at war- or does he fight an impossible fight- Doom has the Hulk and all the Hulk sized powerhouses guarding him at the White House.

Doom on the other hand...is restless.
Ruling the world is a full time job- a giant administrative hassle with no real chalenges worthy of him. Should he blow it all? If he does...what then?

D00MTR0N 11-27-2011 08:33 AM

I agree, emperor Doom is awesome,I am half way through it,I really like the idea of a house of Doom as well but what are the chances?

Kaewin 11-27-2011 07:08 PM

I enjoyed it alot. When the book came out it was a bit of a shock the way they used the Avengers as servants (Avengers fan) but I liked it. It was nice seeing them use Namor in a great way and used him to be the hero in the end. Of course Kilgrave should have stayed dead.

Star Trek Reed is thinking "My God...Doom looks like a total penis without his hood up- no wonder I SO EASILY DEFEATED HIM WITH A DOG COLLAR!"

Really, Star Trek Reed could just be bluffing poor ol' Victor about the collar's abilities.

But then...Doom is obviously suffering brain damage to eve wear that lame ass white outfit. Way to bow to peer pressure, Vic- if the FF all wore polka dots you'd be right there, wouldn't you?

Biter.

Still, Star Trek-Reed knows he cant compete with 616 Reed- not where it matters to Sue.

Snowflakian 12-02-2011 05:17 AM

I'm pretty indifferent to it. Marvel was hyping his return the moment he died too much forewarning us at issue 600 F4 would be back running alongside FF.

"Alternate Reed Richards Counterpart" seems redundant to me

a House of Doom event or even a Doom returning to his former glory in a big way might draw me back into buying new comics

D00MTR0N 12-02-2011 07:57 AM

we NEED a house of Doom series, but its marvel and they are busy making 50 different deadpool issues, btw anyone else bummed at how the artwork in FF #12 took a nose dive?
