I may bend however if they release any sets of favorite characters/series. If they made a Runaways set with the hopper, I'd kill for that.
However, unlike with the DC, the ones I'd go for are likely too obscure for Legos.

Bricklink.com - You can buy literally any part from any set, any minifigure, even a single stud if you wish. Fantastic place.

Nexodusrex 11-29-2011 06:24 AM

I was reading up on the sets on brickapedia. no photos outside of a few minifigures. The Quinjet attack set has over 700 pieces, 100 more than the upcoming Batcave, so that sucker is gonna be big. I'm hoping for Hawkeye and Ms Marvel. lol

Optimus Vader 11-29-2011 06:46 AM

I'll buy a few and put them away for when I have a kid. It might not be necessary, but knowing what some of those older Star Wars sets go for,.. it can't hurt.

batman and spiderman 2 sets from sevearl years ago go for between 100-300 dollars so theres always that.

D00MTR0N 11-29-2011 08:47 AM

they really need to sell these figures in single packs BUT make it so you can see who you are buying,I hate going to a comic/toy show or a collector shop and seeing these minifigs for up to $20,I mean really!

Darkspeed 11-29-2011 10:29 AM

With both these and the DC ones, they have a great opportunity for single Minifig packs; Could do variations of the existing characters, or release new figures all together to expand your Avengers/JL teams! Only problem with that is, I can see people buying them all out and reselling them at extortionate prices. ^^;

warmachine6 11-29-2011 10:43 AM

i remeber making customs , i still have some , but im not getting the newones , well i might just get 1 set possibly im not sure though dpeends what they look like, if anyone wants lego to buy off me send me a pm i have a mixture of starwars , batman most of it really is and i have other brick and lego agents , city , road plastes , a large grey plates must be in the UK sorry usa

Thank you! I'll definately have to keep that in mind.

behindthemask 11-29-2011 11:11 PM

I may pick up the odd Iron man, deadpool or Avengers set, a local retailer carries tons of lego so good chance of me seeing them but fuck lego's expensive so if it's on a few bucks for the figures then fine but if it's 20-30$+ I'll save it for MU and ML.

I'd love to see some pics like the DC Lego thread.

Just saying.

That sux.

I want to see what the hellicarrier looks like.

LXL_Guy 11-30-2011 11:37 AM

Won't be picking up the Marvel ones.

Though I do have a question. If Lego is putting out Marvel, does that mean the Mega Blocks Marvel will be phased out?

Boba Fettuccini 11-30-2011 11:56 AM

I think the Megablocks will continue assuming they continue to pay for their license.

Good question. I'd assume not, since the products are so similar.

CLASSIFIED 11-30-2011 05:29 PM

I don't think Mega Blox will continue because Lego seems to have bought the license to produce building toys based on Marvel's characters.

Agreed, they're pretty much similar. I'll only get any X-23, X-Force and maybe X-Men related...and yes most likely for my kids if anything.

MeLikeJinx 11-30-2011 05:46 PM

No for the toys, but I seriously hope they make a Lego Marvel Videogame because I loved Lego: SWIII - The Clone Wars and Lego: Pirates of The Caribbean.

Ooh right on the mark. Would be awesome, wasn't there a DC one I thought?

How about a Lego Marvel vs Lego DC Video game?

I wanted Midway to make Marvel vs DC in a MK setting, they did MK vs DC which was good IMO but lacked some more marvelous characters, replace the MK guys from the game with Deadpool, spiderman, ironman, wolverine, captain america, cyclops, beast, gambit, psylocke, jean with phoenix fatality I would pay damn good $$ to have 30 Marvel vs 30 dc with brutal fatalites,2 on 2 and 4 on 4 combat with tag system, add in some online multiplayer, update the fighting engine, and I'd add a more realistic factor where if you break a bone it stays broken, and eventually limbs could come off and be used as weapons,... muahahahah. yeh I said it lol.

Marvel Kid 11-30-2011 09:32 PM

No, I will stay with my Mega Bloks Marvel. The lego marvel looks like crap...

Darkspeed 12-01-2011 09:17 AM

From the looks of things, the Marvel Lego stuff might be themed after the movies:

Quote:

6865 Captain America Avenging Cycle
6866 Wolverine Chopper Showdown
6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape
6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout
6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle
I'm hoping in the future they do an Avengers mansion as a big set!

that would be cool.
Another great one would be the X-men's Danger Room or Aunt May's House
