His sister took the Xmen to the demon realm to try to find a means of stopping Juggernaut who had taken on the form of Kuurth :Breaker of Stone in Fear Itself. She is about to make a deal with Cytorak (the dude who made the original Juggernaut ) when Peter steps in in an attempt to protect his sister and make the "I deal with the devil" himself. He is imbued with the power of the Cyttorak crystal ,becoming The Unstoppable Colossus.

The way mutants have been joining the Avengers recently the story is practically X vs X!

I missed out on a lot of Civil War, so this will be a good chance for me to feel less left out.

When does the dio picture posting begin?

Nexodusrex 12-07-2011 09:06 AM

I may have mispoken when I said Bimonthly. heres an excert from marvelousnews

"Shipping twice monthly, this epic 12-issue limited series will be available in comic stores and on the Marvel Comics app on the same day—additionally, each print issue of AVENGERS VS X-MEN includes a code for a free digital copy of the issue on the Marvel Comics app at no additional cost to fans or retailers"

so its not gonna take 2 years. just 6 months

This would make an awesome custom.

Ditto. 2 pages and still no dios. I'm actually in the process of re-arranging my setup. I just got my spawn alley playset and already have sentinels raiding it. I guess I can change it up to x men vs avengers.

I honestly want to say you didn't miss out on much seeing as much of that time has been rewritten out and forgotten. Simply water under the bridge now.

There we go. That makes more sense than what was previously stated. So I'll assume Part1 happens in an X title then onwards to Avengers then back and forth between the two to make out the 6 month thing work.

actually it starts with X-Sanction which is a 4 part miniseries with the return of Cable fighting the Avengers
Then theres a issue zero
and then theres a miniseries Avengers VS X-Men 12 issues

Going to be interesting to see how Cable survived from Messiah War, although his death would be easily explain since it was only his arm that got cut off when the portal closed.

Ha ha agreed!

Symbiote 12-07-2011 06:01 PM

I'd be interested to see the return of cable. I enjoyed the Messiah War story. So much sh1t happened there with some pretty good deaths.

On another note, WHERE ARE THE DIOS?????

Children's Crusade? Is that a reference to Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five? I loved that book.

Symbiote 12-08-2011 08:34 AM

I was looking through my old comics and found this

I guess they did do this awhile back.

true, but the new one seems to be a full scale battle involving the phoenix. so I'm fairly certain this will be much bigger

Ya Messiah War was awesome! Loved the Artwork.

Ooh what's that story about?

Symbiote 12-08-2011 09:32 AM

Of course the new one is a bigger scale as there are more heroes who have joined avengers and x men. I didn't doubt that the new one will be epic. I was just confirming that avengers vs x men title has been done before.

Its been awhile and I forgot what this story was about. I just stumbled upon it yesterday while I was looking at some old west coast avengers comics. I was researching some good group shots for the west coast since I got in the quicksilver and wonderman pack.

CLASSIFIED 12-08-2011 11:01 AM

You mean this isn't the first time the Avengers and X Men have fought each other!

DogFashionDisco 12-08-2011 11:51 AM

What's with Crimson Dynamo on the cover? And has anyone else read Slaughterhouse Five; or, The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death by Kurt Vonnegut? God, I hope so.

Snowflakian 12-08-2011 12:34 PM

It starts soon with X-Sanction first. The cable vs avengers thing, which will then build to that April mini too.

Could be interesting.

Children's Crusade so far is interesting, it has finished yet though.

Hope so! Interested to see how Cable came back, it seems like they're bringing the Heroes back faster now after "killing" them off. Another example is Human Torch.

I've read Children's Crusade, but it seems to be going on forever.
