X-Statix! The BEST X-Force team. Ever.

afgoosett 12-08-2011 05:24 PM

Wolverine's Uncanny X-Force
Not the first one that Scott put together though.

The one Wolverine himself did without anyone knowing.
Wolverine
Deadpool
Psylocke
Archangel
Fantomex

My opinion Cyclops/Wolverine X-Force, just because X-23, Domino and Warpath were in it. Was well balanced in characters.

Whats uncanny X-force?

I LOVE the current X-Force, but to me, it will always be Cable's original team.

Yeah this one!

X Statics were the best because of Mike Alred.

LXL_Guy 12-08-2011 08:57 PM

One X-Statix turned X-Force team.

And your men(and sometimes women) with weird poc ridden musculature in the neck, and abnormal anatomy in general. Additionally, most of his OC are knock offs of other original characters, Deadpool (one of my favorite heroes) is included, as he started off as a Deathstroke clone, in red.

Really nice guy, I've heard.

LXL_Guy 12-08-2011 10:12 PM

I'm still waiting for Rob Leifield to rearrange his schedule so he can make an appearance at my comic shop.

Greenskar 12-08-2011 10:59 PM

I'm loving Rick's run on Uncanny so much that I'm completely biased towards it at the moment. Great use of these characters and tie in's to classic story arcs.

Boba Fettuccini 12-08-2011 11:25 PM

The one with Deadpool.

I'm still waiting for Rob Liefeld to publicly commit Harakiri

Snowflakian 12-09-2011 01:11 AM

Hmm, Psylockes costume looks like a tint of blue to it, maybe her new figure is close enough to her Uncanny X-Force outfit to pass.

Not before I get a signature.

KingLouie731 12-09-2011 03:39 AM

I prefer the X-force team right after X-cutioner's song with Cannonball leading but that didn't last long as Cable came right back. The cannonball team wasn't a choice so I picked the Cable led team as it had most of the same characters

This is one of my favorite covers

Yes, I remember him, Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, and Todd McFarlane were the big great artists during that time.

They should have all quit their jobs and started their own comic book company. That would have been bossa nova!

Actually they did:P Image Comics, didn't do so well though after a few years. Had a good run though.

Image is still around though despite the changes. Besides, they give me my monthly dose of Kirkman.

Yes, did they get bought out or partnered with someone?

Image Comics? Wasn't that the basis for Ultimates 3?
